Rumor: Legacy Tow-Line & Toxitron Coming?

A new pair of Transformers product rumors are coming to us this morning by way of TFW’s Jtprime17, this time having to do with a supposed Legacy Tow-Line and Toxitron!

“So as many have you heard a Dlx Tow-Line is coming, he going to be a Buzzworthy Exclusive packed 8 per case.

Also one of the capsule Leaders from our past post now seems to have an identity.

That reminds me of a digibash I saw that was IDW Starsaber from leader Skyquake that was more awesome then it had any right to be.

That’s fair. I’d rather Aileron be used from that mold.

Simple solution: we get both. But you getting Aileron is more likely.

How I feel is this, they made the right choice as it’s better to do a proper version first so fans don’t get pissed and give off the impression this is the only version your gonna get. That being said I’d love to get this as a toy, like how it looks.

Bullet dodged. I’d like to see the old titanium design brought back at some point. Not that it’d ever happen but it’s a cool what if? Cosmos has had a weird amount of things canceled.

How I feel is this, they made the right choice as it’s better to do a proper version first so fans don’t get pissed and give off the impression this is the only version your gonna get. That being said I’d love to get this as a toy, like how it looks, little better than the show accurate toy we got.

But I’d but a Titanium design, it’d be neat to even see the IDW giant version.

When I heard Deathsaurus was originally supposed to be a retool of Grimlock, there has never been a figure I wanted more.

The Detrius mold isnt great. I wouldn’t mind if they cancelled Hound and just come back with a new and better mold.

Isn't it just the siege mold?

Oh interesting. That makes way more sense than a new mold for a minor character as an exclusive. Like honestly Override was really pushing it but that was a whole new thing.

I think my point still stands that they’ll be around at some point. It not those molds then those characters.

Who was override supposed to be a retool of?

I can see it being a case of if they were canned, the Buzzworthy releases are scrapped but now they are mainline releases. Would be neat if that allowed for more budget so that Hatchet could be a new mold but he’d likely still be a partial/retool.

Hatchet is a partial of Studio Series Crowbar! You can see he shares all the same vehicle mode parts as Crowbar, and they're all folded up on him in the exact same way. He's the opposite of a reshell. They just gave him new robot mode innards and you stand him up on all fours instead of upright.

I doubt it. Hatchet is a fully new mold seemingly towards the end of the development process, or at least near. I can’t imagine it gets canned.

Every time this thread is bumped, I have hopes we finally have news regarding Select Windsweeper or news for more exclusives (details for Mayhem). But no, people are arguing about blue text…

You think a toy most likely coming from the Needlenose mold would have a smooth release?

I know that we are truly spoiled by leaked listings, and that we will find out everything in good time, but I hope we get a Christmas miracle of the listings for Mayhem. There's a lot of potential cool stuff that could happen with that theme, and I'm excited. But also, I'm a weirdo and love budgeting for my Transformers, so I'm anxious to know what my budget will look like for next year ha ha.

I am so hoping that we somehow get a Spinister rerelease (maybe a toy deco or something? Comics? Idk I want that mold in those colours lol). That being said I do not think we got super specific leaks for any of the other Amazon lines so I won’t hold my breath.

There was a lot of shifting in 2023 due to ROTB finally being released, and hasbro adjusting to retailer’s demands. Most of the stuff shifted has been pushed back with TBD release dates. Hasbro is still offering these items for order via their wholesale channels.

Some things were cancelled. One day I’ll hopefully be able to share a list of things that didn’t make it.

Can’t wait for the disappointment in what we could’ve got lol. Hope we do get it see that list someday.

Hatchet and Hound might actually be dead then.

And Hound is a season 1 Autobot earth mode. No shot it doesn’t see release. I could imagine something where target no longer wants it but there’s still contract issues meaning they can’t be rereleased right away, but I feel like they aren’t just straight canceled.

On a side note I find it funny that this is the most I've ever seen people talk about Hound or Hatchet, especially Hatchet lol

Tbh I keep forgetting Hatchet even exists until people start talking about the MIA Buzzworthy figure.

If Hound were cancelled, I’m sure down the line you’ll see him regardless. Hatchet’s the concerning one.
