The new Kotobukiya Bishoujo Series Transformer Megatron has just been released in Japan and we can share for you our first in-hand images of this statue.
We have clear shots of this original anime-girl rendition of Megatron, designed by artist Shunya Yamashita, thanks to twitter user @kumakomagoma. We have a side-by-side pictures next to Masterpiece MP-36 Megatron. A very fine and detailed scupt for sure. This is the second released Kotobukiya Bishoujo Transformers series right after Optimus Prime which was released some days ago.

(Nah, it's a great figure. Between the pose and the coat it's also a lot more dynamic feeling and has more presence on the shelf than Prime, but Prime's good too.)

There's more than you might realize at first
There's the belt sporting his ab buttons, the deception logo on the tie lining up right, even the little military hat is reminiscent of his original concept art (which was heavily used for marvel). Then there's the red lining of the jacket referencing the red inside paneling on the original toy.
But I agree that it would have been better for her to have military pouches on her hips instead of just a black skit, and something on her back to reference his tank canon

But she DOES have the Fusion Cannon. Much like Bee has her goggles and Prime has both the helmet and trailer bag.

that's my biggest gripe…if she didn't have the fusion cannon you'd hardly know it was supposed to be a Megatron homage…
there are little bits like the hat and the color layout, but not a lot evoking Megatron…maybe if she were wearing a helmet, or had more exaggerated boots that resembled Megs' legs…

Like for real. I haven't seen someone truly horny for these Bishoujo figures. So far i have heard they're cute from certain anime figure collectors.
