Back in 2021, a children’s toy company named Forever Clever achieved unprecedented success with their licensed G.I. Joe bricks line. The demand was so high, the company had to issue a statement with regard to the line’s availability.
Today, 2005 Boards member StellarJet has appropriately discovered two Transformers-licensed glider jets by Forever Clever.
In addition to his discovery, we now have a whole new set of TF-related products by the aforementioned toy company.
Forever Clever licensed Transformers products:
- Transformers Launch Action Gliders
- Transformers Wall Tumblers
- Transformers 12-inch Inflatable Characters
- Transformers Bracelets
- Transformers ID Tags
- Transformers Sticker Books
- Transformers Sticker Kits
- Transformers Flash Cards
- Transformers Chalk Items
- Transformers Shaped Chalk

THE-TRANSFORMER
I understand why Hasbro has done it and it'll work overtime…
… However the evergreen designs here are really rubbing me the wrong way. This should have been G1 or Earthspark, in my opinion.

"Flies up to 20 feet!".
I'm no expert on gliders but that seems an awfully short distance. 20 feet is the length of a room.
Pcsolyar
I used to have foam jets that you shot like this back when I was about 7-8, surprised it took this long to make licensed ones

[Armada/Micron Legend Starscream intensifies]
Venixion
I forsee an uptick of vids where kids get hit in the eye by their siblings with these things.

I found Optiscream at an Ollies in Lancaster Pennsylvania.

And people wonder why Cliffjumper has trust issues…
Vector Oracle
I kind of wish that these were transforming figures. I’d buy them instantly if they were, especially since it’s been a while since Optimus and Megatron were jets.
Confused Millennial
Becoming an Autobot was Starscream’s dream. The ultimate act of betrayal.
Afterburner
That Starscream Optimus is disturbing.

Evergreen designs
I know this is literally what they're built for, but that doesn't mean I gotta like 'em.
Terror of space
I thought Prime was starscream…

This.
Several years/decades ago, this news of licensed goods was awesome! Quality was good, items added peripheral value (such as Birthday party favors).
Today? Very cheap, China-made garbage that is quickly spreading across ALL of retail, where once you found higher quality products. These dollar store items are starting to appear in even high end shops, and that's really alarming (if you were shopping for TFs at all in the last 10 yrs).

For those interested in the gliders, Ollie's stocked them for the Christmas rush, but they might still have a few kicking around.
Ollie's sticker price was $7.99 each.

I found the smaller Joe sets in Dollarama last year. Thought about picking up Snake Eyes and his bike, but then read a review about how poorly designed the bike was (the figure can\'t sit on it properly) and how easily it fell apart. The minifig was the only good thing about it apparently.
Point being, I hope these are better quality than those, but I wouldn\'t hold my breath.
Shattered Trousers
They painted Sky Turbine's cockpit the wrong colour…

I'm guessing the jet was originally intended to be Starscream but at some point during production they thought it would "make sense" to give the brighter coloured jet to Optimus and the darker jet to Megatron.

obsessed with how this article opens by saying demand for gi joe product is unprecedented

That's Blitzwing.

When you try making an Optimus-themed jet but it looks like Starscream
