Are there any additional listings for mainline? You seem to know some of the case assortments!
BlackHawkOmega
oh shit
the hips thighs and shins are from ss-38 at least

Interesting. So this Prime isn’t the Beast Hunters style truck that I thought it was going to be based on the other mainline Primes. Looks to be a retool of SS-38 but I can’t tell.

I was about to say wasn't primal wave 1? Hopefully these start popping up stateside soon.
Jtprime17
Calling @Black Convoy. Might want to start a new thread for these.
Also What’s interesting is, the delay of the movie has caused multiple waves to be produced and ready to go at the same time.
Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal are wave 1 and Rhinox with a repack of prime is wave 2.
Both case assortments are in port here in the US, so this is one of those rare times where we’re seeing the supposed to be 2nd wave before the 1st.

Overall I’d say Bumblebee is the closest from what we have seen of his normal Camaro design, since his Off-Road design in the film we haven’t seen yet since his design really didn’t change. Alt mode wise his Camaro deco is a little inaccurate for having the stripes on his roof.
Battletrap is darn close, just the mouth area changed, he has the engine in his chest and proportion wise it seems he’s changed to have less long legs and more shorter legs. Or at least they look that way from the trailer.
But Bumblebee is probably the closest overall. If it wasn’t for some things I would say Arcee was also.
I guess this means maybe down the line (not for a while) Hasbro can redo these guys to be 1:1 accurate.
octobotimus
Yeah they’re definitely closer/more accurate, but in terms of which of them is “right” I wouldn’t say any of them are.
TF Hot Rod
The cost of the film being delayed I'm afraid and having only early 3D assets (likely the control art) and 2d assets to go off of.
Overall though I'd say while inaccurate they are still way more closer than the mainline stuff to the final designs apart from say SS Airazors beast mode.
octobotimus
And yet the SS figures are more accurate to the concept art than they are the actual cad models. Scourge for example flat out isn’t based on the movie model and is based mostly on the concept art version. Air razor’s bird mode is also based on concept art with the mainline figure being more accurate.
So atm none of them are really right, they’re all inaccurate.
Exerus Wing
Никак не могу понять, какую версию персонажа брать в свою коллекцию Байформеров.
Oniconvoy
There’s nothing confusing at all. The mainline versions were designed first and are based on early concept art. The Studio Series ones were designed later based on CAD and other elements directly from the film.
Exerus Wing
And again…..two versions of Movieverse Airazor were presented, now we have two versions of Cheetor. Which is one is right! Stop confusing us!

Id totally buy that… ooh! Prefect.
