I was a bit surprised as well. Then again, this figure looks great. It's the first figure in this line that makes me want to go out and buy it. Actually, resembles Beast Wars Airazor. This will bring in lots of casual fans who have nostalgia for Beast Wars or this character. Also, tons of customizers out there who are going to buy this to give it some custom paint apps. Myself included.
My main nitpicks about this figure are the bland color and the legs in alt-mode stick. Otherwise, the upper half of the beast mode looks great.

My friend used an A.I. generator to make these pictures. It captured that peanut butter beige color perfectly.

True. May I remind everyone of G2 Smokescreen being used for Energon Starscream? Same TF method, completely new toy.
Chadderbug
Definitely wasn't expecting this. Everyone else's pre-orders are still open, even Battletrap.

shared engineering is nothing new, and sometimes if something isnt broken why fix it
JellyShonagon
if it works, they'll go with it i guess!
Enderstone
Yeah but at least Airazor isn't too bad in-hand.
JellyShonagon
that's just bogus
Enderstone
It's literally just a new mold which shares the same transformation scheme as Kingdom Airazor… so a similar robot mode is expected.

Did you photoshop this? Looks way better. Adding some color really shows the true potential of this mold. Here is a comparison to see how it stacks up against the previous figure and the original CG model. I am actually surprised to see a movie figure this accurate to the source material. For once it doesn't look like scrap metal sculpture.

You'd think he did, when you look at the way some people are talking about the movie.

Bay didn't direct this
TFW2023
I just wish Michael Bay put in the Predacorns and the rest of the Maximals
Silly Dave
That would be an instant buy for me. Shame we are getting so much brown / tan with the ROTB figures…
kissmekillme
This looks so much better with some color

Scourge looks weird when standing normally but in an action pose he looks sick as fuck
RATCHET 208
It looks like Scourge's arm-blaster is compatible with blast effects, really cool.
I'm sold on that Airazor, there goes my wallet.View attachment 29792633 View attachment 29792634 View attachment 29792635 View attachment 29792636

It’s already known, he waits for Hasbro to reveal SS and legacy figures before reviewing them. Has been that way for a while, and it’s not surprising given Hasbro designers follow him.
