Though our annual New York Toy Fair is pushed to September this year, Spielwarenmesse and The Toy Fair UK will take place on their usual calendar dates. We’ve received some info from several exhibitors who are set to showcase Transformers toys and licensed merchandise at the 2023 Nuremberg & London Toy Fairs*.
With Transformers: Rise of the Beasts hitting theaters this year, manufacturers are planning to release their products around the movie’s hype.

The Toy Fair 2023 will take place from the 24th of January to the 26th of January in London, UK.
Spielwarenmesse 2023 will take place from the 1st of February to the 5th of February in Nuremberg, Germany.
*Disclaimer: Nuremberg and London toy fairs are industrial trade shows. Products will only be showcased to invitees.
Sambro International
Toy Fair UK (London, UK): Stand F16
Set to launch Transformers novelty collectibles and plushies based on Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and Transformers: EarthSpark. Plushies will feature Optimus Prime and Bumblebee among other characters under Sambro’s Lil Bodz line. These plush toys’ small bodies are paired with oversized heads and come with electronic sounds. Set to launch Autumn/Winter 2023.

Toy Fair UK (London, UK): Stand N16
The UK company is now planning to expand the Stretch Armstrong Transformers line in 2023 along with Star Wars characters.
Simba Smoby
Toy Fair UK (London, UK): Stand B50
The company plans to capitalize on the hype of the upcoming movie. Simba Smoby plans to market its transforming RC G1 Optimus Prime along with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. In addition to that, their subsidiary, Jada Toys is set to release die-cast vehicles based on ROTB characters.
YuMe Toys
Nuremberg Toy Fair 2023 (Nuremberg, Germany): Hall 12 – Stand F3
Set to launch a brand new Transformers collectibles line under their DZNR (pronounced: Designer) brand. The line will feature a character plushie-in-a-box, but now with a unique split design approach, where every character bears two contrasting designs separated into the two halves of the free-standing figure.

Toy Fair UK (London, UK): Stand N17
Features YuMe Toys’ Transformers DZNR line. See above.
MV Sports & Leisure
Toy Fair UK (London, UK): Stand E75
While not much is told about what will be featured, MV Sports will carry a new line of Transformers activity items. If we consider what the company produced during previous Transformers movies, we expect to see children’s scooters and other ridable vehicles.

Nuremberg Toy Fair 2023 (Nuremberg, Germany): Hall 4A – Stand C-30 to D-31
Toy Fair UK (London, UK): Gallery Suites
Once again, Hasbro will take the biggest floor spaces at Spielwarenmesse and Toy Fair UK. Hasbro did not officially communicate to us what they will showcase during said Toy Fairs, but we expect to see product reveals of Transformers: Rise of The Beasts to be the main focus this year.

Today is Press Day for London's Toy Fair 2023, and so that's where I am writing Bleeding Cool from. If you see me, say hi! That's part of the fun!

Today was the opening Press Day at Toy Fair London 2023. I managed to turn up as the door opened and wandered around Olympia Hall taking photos where I was allowed to (and through windows of places where I was not). Lots of stuff to talk about in upcoming articles, but I thought I'd burn through the remains of my data plan and get these photos up for your browsing pleasure. My bias, of course, was for IP stuff, so see plenty of Marvel and DC, as well as Harry Potter, Star Wars, Games Workshop, Bandai, Doctor Who, Funko, Todd McFarlane Toys and a little Peppa Pig as well. The mascot parade was also out, with Teletubbies, Sesame Street, and Paw Patrol roaming the corridors and blocking booths. Unlike last year, the masks and vaccination checks were a thing of the past.
The Mystery Agency series of Escape Room games designed by Mischief Theatre's Henry Lewis probably grabbed my attention more than any other. But there was a lot to fun to be had in and around the Stranger Things license from Mighty Jaxx, who have a very fun and wide line of other stuff too. Staffed by former employees of Eaglemoss, these are people who know their stuff and know just what to play with at Toy Fair.
Oh and apparently, for 2023, plush is in. That comes from the very top. Time to start getting cuddly, I guess. Okay, Toy Fair, next stop Funko…

This won't be a popular opinion, but I'd like these toy fairs to have world first TF reveals even if it means holding back official reveals/leaks for a week or two.
Perhaps London to reveal retro G1 Reissue and Nuremberg to put a spot light on SS.

I've known of the London Toy Fair but this is the first time I've heard of the Nuremberg. Thought it was on trial even though it's been around for yonks.
