After a low quality photo from earlier this month, we now have our first good look at Studio Series Leader Scourge from the upcoming movie, Transformers Rise of the Beasts. Images come from Sonic Bomber-Core over on Facebook.
These pics give us a much better look at the figure in his robot and truck modes as well as showing us his weaponry and a few poses.
Check it out and let us know what you think on the boards!
Update: Added additional photos.

seems like i’ll be buying two upgrade kits for one figure at this point – between the novaforge head/upper arm/side shin parts and DNA’s lower arms/weapons/thighs/transforming abdominal/front shin parts, what remains of the original figure will barely be visible lol

Quick & shabby edit of how DNA kitted Scourge might look with the NovaForge head on instead.

Finally got him today from amazon aaaand I really like him, the upgrade kit is going to look great on him. The only thing that bothers me is his smoke stacks are a bit lose and the leaft foot is a bit lose aswell. But besides that he is pretty good. But yes, he is pretty small for a leader class. Thankfully no cracks or damage on the clear plastic parts.

Yeah I see what you're talking about.
I concur, given that it directly effects the accuracy of the vehicle, and not just a "lost feature", I I hope people push for the change.
Go at it you social media folks, go fix this issue for us please.

Scourge's alt mode gun storage uses tabs on his knees, not slots. Looking at the original/upgrade comparison, you can see that the gun storage tabs (red) are covered and replaced with slots (green). Scourge's gun does have tabs on it that might be able to fit into those new slots, but because of where those tabs are, the two halves of the gun wouldn't sit at an angle anymore, so the look would be less movie-accurate and you wouldn't be able to attach Freezer/Novakane's gun mode to it.
Thankfully, DNA is very receptive to feedback, so there's a chance they could put those knee tabs on to the new legs before the kit comes out. I don't have facebook, so if any good samaritans wanted to ask them for this on my behalf, you'd be fighting the good fight. Kit looks really great otherwise.

You prob missed it in another thread, but it's been confirmed that the same slots are there on the upgrade kit; hence making the storage possible still.

I wish they kept the tabs for the vehicle storage for the gun since it is movie accurate. That's my only criticism of the kit, looks amazing otherwise!

I’m sorry, was tired last night and that was one of the messages that I send before heading to bed.

If you don't care about part-forming, You can remove the arms and flip the shoulders, the silhouette is still not accurate but slightly better.

it doesn't look like it can as the tabs it would use are covered

I wish they'd come up with a new storage solution for the claw arm when the arm cannon is equipped. Even just rotating the slot 90 degrees so that the arm stores on his back horizontally instead of vertically would be a huge improvement.
Also hope that the transformed arm cannon can still store on the back of the truck, as that is movie-accurate. Other than those two things, the kit looks great!

Ok, no need to be so agressive, just asking a question tis all

No it looks like shit
PrimeBot
Oh my god that looks great
Can't those just fold down on his arms to give it more of an accurate look to the movie or does that limit the arm movement ?

Looks pretty good. Definitely improves the proportions. Still kinda prefer the original head, despite the long neck, just cause I prefer how the goatee looks on it. I do commend them for making the mask removable, rather than just having separate masked and unmasked heads, but since his face reveal served litterally no point in the film, I don't really care about its inclusion. Still, if I get this, I'll probably use everything else.
Now all I need is to find Scourge himself for a price that in any way reflects the value of the base figure. Despite the repacks, I still haven't seen this guy go down in price, much. Probably doesn't help that ROTB Mainline toys have clogged shelves so long, new waves have simply stopped showing up at general retail, where I am, besides specialty stores that order specific characters, rendering his repacks in later waves meaningless.
Good to know.
Honestly, I'm glad they can't fix the shoulders. That design is tied with 07 Megatron and AOE Lockdown for most nondescript lead villain look in the movies. The toys big shoulders, plus the more pronounced grill chest, gives his appearance more distinguishing features.

Makes the figure an immediate 10/10

Accuracy aside, I liked the original head sculpt better. The Witch King chain coif was cool. The final head design is just a poor-man's Tarn.
