Via Chompilo Toy on Youtube, we have our first in-hand images of the new Transformers Legacy: Evolution Deluxe Class Junkion.
This is a completely new Deluxe mold of a new Junkion character which hasn’t been officially revealed yet so he’s got no official name so far. He’s the second new Legacy Deluxe Junkion after Scraphook. This new mold really looks like a classic Junkion, quite similar to Wreck-Gar (even with a mustache) and he also transforms into a futuristic motorcycle. Several parts of the alt mode can become weapons for the robot mode including one of the wheels which can be used as a shuriken and you can even attach Wreck-Gar’s wheels. We also have comparison shots next to other Junkions and WFC figures for those wondering about scale.
Check all the images after the jump, as well as Chompilo Toy review, and then let us know if your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Attachment block? What did you make that from?

Ratings boards are not that logical.

Honestly I never understood why they didn't just say in the show that Lockdown takes other bots' limbs and uses them to upgrade himself. I mean it's not like TFA didn't have extreme violence in it, plus I doubt children watching the show would be inspired to rip off other human limbs and upgrade themselves with it.

The idea of Lockdown replacing full limbs is somewhat supported by his heavily asymmetrical details. He only looks "integrated" as a result of the more symmetrical silhouette, for the sake of making him easier to animate. And specifically calling out "upgrades" in the script, rather than "limbs" keeps things cool for the ratings boards.

Pretty much.

THAT GUY!

I kinda just want more 86 voyager class junkions, rather than these smaller ones.
Rather have my Junkions display propotionally; the size between vehicle-mode Scraphook and vehicle-mode Wreckgar is just ugly to took at.
At this point I\'m buying my childhood, woulda been happy with another 2 variants of the voyager bike mold like how they tweaked Wreckgar to make Junkheap. With the mix/match of Junkions in bot form each riding a Junkion in bike form, thats like a double sale of each fig.
Would be a sick display to have Wreckgar backed up by like 4 of his movie bike-type junkions.

A lot of the junkions that appeared , look at the kfc guys , they did them all I think LOL and the. There is Nancy too and the small guy above

I’m genuinely wondering who’s missing toys at this point given how they seem to be making everyone under the Sun at this point.

This is always their reply to potential characters though.

It's more of speculation based on evidences than mere assumptions. At a Q&A the designers were asked about the muscle car Junkion seen on the poster; they replied with "Hehe, wait and see!" instead of the usual "we don't really know" or "we can't say anything about future uses".
Also, the Junkion appears to be based on a 1960s style of Chevrolet Camaro, and TFA Lockdown himself was based on a 60s muscle car but obviously modded out with Mad Max attachments like spikes and a cowcatcher.
Optimus1138
There's no guarantee we'd get reuses of them as other Junkions anyway though, and I'd like the opportunity to get some of these molds as non-Junkion characters for those of us who don't collect Junkions (the colors just don't really appeal to me).
The design team was asked about Lockdown from the muscle car during one of the last Q&As and they said 'wait and see' or something, definitely not confirming anything but it was more affirming than the usual 'we can't say' sort of response when asked about future releases.

Yeah I appreciate these new junkions but I would have preferred existing cartoon characters that never got toys to be made first .

Lockdown doesn't swap entire body parts, it was just upgrades wasn't it? And ignoring it doesn't work at all because it robs us of a reuse that would have been another Junkion instead of unrelated character.
I think people are just making lots of assumptions because one of them is muscle car.
ShadowNinja7002
For me, I accept Voyager Class cars if they come with accesories that are necessary to the character (example: SS86 Hot Rod). I will accept the new Lockdown as it's likely he'll be coming with many accessories so you could mix and match him or build him whatever. Think of it as a free accessory set I guess? Even if he don't come with accesories I'm okay because at least he has a slick and nice muscle car mode.
The Junkion mold is probably designed with Lockdown in mind, so it might work. Also, the Junkion's ability to swap parts is actually very fitting for Lockdown.
Optimus1138
Well, the muscle car Junkion has already been heavily hinted to indeed be a Lockdown pretool, and in obvious pretool cases like that I wouldn't really consider the true intended use of the mold to be 'secondary' even if it's not the first version that was released. Coming apart actually kind of makes sense for Lockdown too since he likes to upgrade himself, and the way the other Junkions are designed they can still transform without partsforming so you can mostly ignore it if you want.
C16
No way. Lockdown deserves his own mold, not a secondary use from a Junkionizer mold that comes apart. Besides, I really want all repaints and retools of these guys to be Junkions so they can all go together.

There's already a canon smol Junkion.

Voyager class cars still don't sit well with me, unless it is a secret combiner team and it comes with necessary bits of course.
