Thanks to 2005 Boards member NickKnack13 and Oniconvoy we can report that the new Legacy Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection Galaxy Shuttle has been found in Canadian stores.
Several copies of Galaxy Shuttle were found sitting on the shelf at Wal-Mart stores in Ontario and Waterdown, Canada.
Happy hunting!

There's a bunch in Alberta.

He's been found in Ontario and Quebec walmarts from what I read. But the thing is, he retails for around $90 CAD when including taxes (in those provinces). Adding shipping to that and you end up paying the same as e-bay which is $100 USD shipped at the moment. Alberta has no sales tax, from what was written earlier, so if you have a friend there, maybe it would be cheaper than e-bay (really depends on the shipping option chosen after that)

So I have a few friends in Canada willing to help middleman, but is there like, a general Known Lay of The Land of where Galaxy Shuttle is? Like what towns have him etc.?

If I even knew that the one Walmart across the river from me had some (several really) I'd probably spend the money and toll to drive over there and grab several. Maybe if I have to make a trip to pick up some Cuban cigars anytime soon….

This is some rockstar level aid. Well done!

It's the Canadian shipping that's really the killer. The exchange rate and sales tax bring them to – depending on province – over $70 USD. Shipping can generally run another $20-30 (depending on the box size they have available or have to purchase). Then there's another roughly 10% of the shipped cost going to eBay fees, if they're being purchased that route.
General Tekno
I got as many as I did because I was going to TFcon LA and had a fairly empty suitcase going out anyway. And my rationale was "the exchange rate will be better flipping these than it will going to the bank."
Plus my province has the lowest sales tax in the country so that was also a benefit.
John Titor
How much do they come out all together at cost? Does it make a difference which state someone is in?
Obnimaz
They had been suggested on this very forum and the stats seemed good.
Seanprime
Shout out to you for middlemanning that many tho!

It's like how 90% of the world supply of Cosmos ended up in Europe.
Retail be whack, yo.
General Tekno
Also for the record, it's still not even dried up in Canada. Shelves RESTOCKED.
I middlemanned a whole bunch at cost back in March and there's STILL more sitting on shelves in town. (Not that I'm planning to keep grabbing more; after buying 8-9 I'm kinda done with that.)
WishfulThinking
The main thing is to check how many reviews they have and if those seem legit. Always research your seller.

Beware ordering from overseas. I jumped on a uk seller at a good price but after 60 days they had no proof of shipping and I got a refund

I'll make a note to check Citi Trends this holiday season

The line was canceled by Walmart but Canada got their shipments before the company bailed. We thought the late January reset would have space for wave 2 Velocitron product but it disappeared off the plannograms thanks to the decision to nix the line. I still think the decision has led to pallets just sitting in the warehouses and we may see Galaxy Shuttles hitting places like ROSS or Ollies later this year. That's basically what happened with the Netflix line with Primals and Sparkless Seekers hitting ROSS last month.
You can roll the dice and hope I'm right. Or anyone who missed out can order one from Ebay. If you can find one for $100 or less, I'd say jump on it. You won't find one for cheaper considering Canada's toys cost a bit more than ours plus shipping means, at $90-100, someone in Canada is pretty much just giving it to you at the price they paid themselves plus shipping and fees.

TBH, only way I'm interested is as an MM companion… not holding out hope really, as Warden has less understanding of MM's (and the bots and bases designed to work with them) and how they were designed and their use patterns than a steaming dogturd.

The blame lies solely on Walmart for this since they are the exclusive retailer. As someone else noted, it could very well be that a whole bunch of these are currently rotting in a warehouse waiting to be sold to a liquidator.
TFfangeek
Maybe HasTak will surprise us and release a new Armada Jetfire figure in the Legacy line to combine with Armada Optimus Prime, and then design a new head sculpt to create a Galaxy Shuttle repaint. Armada Jetfire is based on G1 Galaxy Shuttle.

Also, who do we need to call in a Fire Mission on for mass ass-reaming about the limited and stealth release?
