I need to bang like a wealthy senator to get this and that 07 megatron statue fr fr homie
TUROK1134
I need to stumble upon thousands of dollars of disposable income so I can get me some Prime 1 statues.
Oh well, at least I get to gawk at pictures of their impeccable attention to detail.
VVa
As awesome as that would be, i don't see them doing MPM ROTF Bots for another year.
They havent even finished the 07 Con cast. . .
SunSwipe5
Hmm, rent and groceries or a super overpriced non-transforming statue
Sorry Prime1, I'll wait for the inevitable MPM BaySwipe.
AnotherBot
Bruh, this looks awesome, but I\'m not a fan of statues, however, Studio Series really nailed the robot mode mold. I\'m hoping that MPM ROTF will come, and that MPM Sideswipe (an imrpoved and scaled up up SS Sideswipe) Will be a thing (Even if it means being able to take off the kibble of the MPM)

I tend to agree
I was being totally sarcastic with that comment because it's unfortunately a sentiment I've seen shared on this forum. I'm also not a 'geewunner' but I've still been called one numerous times.
In the Sunbow cartoon the good guys have blue eyes and the bad guys have red, the movies went a step further and made the good guys comparatively more humanoid with blue eyes and made all the bad guys look like insectoid, feral monsters with red eyes. Obviously there's some exceptions to that rule but it's still a very noticeable trend.
If there was a clear in-story reason for this (like perhaps similar to Animated the "Autobots" were built for labor and the Decepticons were built as weapons / planet conquerors) but it's very clearly just "make the good guys look human and the bad guys look like spoopy aliens". Maybe an indication indicating how little faith the people making the movies had in the general audience so they wanted to make sure both sides could be easily distinguished? And even then most non-TF fans I've spoken too about the movies couldn't name or even distinguish most of the characters besides ones like Optimus, Bumblebee or Megatron.
Prime 1 always does a good job regardless of the quality of the material they're given to work with.

Sideswipe has a cool design but it was crime to make him entirely colorless. He looks unfinished. That's not really a fault of Prime1 though.

That's silly. Personally I think they work way better than the random nonsense the Bots and Cons have in the movies…and no, I'm not even close to a G1ner. Honestly, they don't look like they're the same race nor look like they come from the same planet. Cons are evil, drooling animals with sharp teeth, 2 to 6 or 8 eyes and the same raspy voices, while bots are all bipedal with either dog faces or piano key teeth…
Just really odd random lost designs.
zark225
Such an awesome statue! Sideswipe has such a fantastic design and it's cool to see it done so well.
EnerJohn
Eh, maybe some dogs.
Novaburnhilde
Where art thou Dread busts? I had a funny gag.
Human faces on the alien robits isn't realistic. :[
VVa
Dogs are awesome.

For anyone asking, the price is $1300 for the standard and $1400 for the deluxe according to thir site.
Bayverse4ever
I want a lockdown figure
SunSwipe5
Love how they conveniently leave off the price
EnerJohn
Eh, rather bland. I find it odd how they designed so many off the movie Transformers to look like they have dog faces.

What does that say? "Plague?" What does that mean? Here, let me have your glasses…"

“Autobots, Attack!”
Prime 1 Studio is proud to present another elite Autobot in our Museum Masterline Series: the Non-Scale MMTFM-35: Sideswipe from Transformers: Dark of the Moon!
Incredibly fast on four wheels or two, Sideswipe is acrobatic, athletic, and dynamic. He is a master of ranged weaponry but ultimately prefers to fight with his twin-bladed melee attacks!
In the events of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Sideswipe assisted Bumblebee in taking over an illegal power plant in the Middle East, fought with Ironhide against Sentinel Prime, and survived the explosion of the Xantium with other Autobots.
In this 22-inch statue, Sideswipe’s cool, silver metallic armor is replete with sculpted machinery, plating, and electronics indistinguishable from the real thing! He’s equipped with his arm cannons and looks incredibly alert and alive with light-up eyes and chest lights powered by LEDs!
Balancing on his twin-wheeled form, Sideswipe is prepared for a standoff on a smartly-appointed Autobots base featuring the Autobots logo front and center!
Keep your Autobot ranks growing by pre-ordering MMTFM-35: Sideswipe from Transformers: Dark of the Moon now before he skates away!

If they ever get around to making a "Dino" / Mirage statue its possible he'll have Hatchet's head.

A well done MPM would be ideal, but I'd happily take an osko of the studio series. Those came out shockingly well.
