Got my SG Jetfire in today. I loved the G1 version and I feel the same about this one. The black plastic looks great – no qualms about mismatching plastic. The silver painted face may be off putting to some however. My biggest issue is that he has much looser tolerances which is surprising as MS usually improves in that area on their repaints.

I also would have loved if they included repaints of the Magnus armor cannons to add some variety.

In total I’ve owned three versions of SG Jetfire now – Iron Factory, Newage, and now Magic Square, though never at the same time. As with the toon version, I prefer the proportions, headsculpt, and articulation on this figure over NA but they are both fantastic figures.

I’ll likely pick up the MK version as they have indicated they will KO the NA SG version as well but the MS will likely remain as my main SG Jetfire

i had some qualms about the silver painted face on SG from other photos posted. but your's doesn't look as bad as i initially thought. it looks fairly decent in fact and close to equal to the original grey face.

For black repaint group shots don't forget the original black repaint, Skywarp.

Fair point.   My MS Skywarp is in perpetual storage as he really doesn’t match with recent releases. Here’s a pic with NA to make up for it though.

The tolerances were like that with Ratchet too, at least on my copy. The tolerances are perfect on Ironhide, who came out first, but Ratchet had a very loose thigh swivel. It’s too bad that they still can’t nail them all the time, because they’ve gotten so much better overall. The majority of their newer V2 figures have perfect tolerances, including the original Skyfire.

Oh nice! Have hey announced any stickers for SG jetfire yet?

I’m in no way qualified to give love life advice, however…. If they aren’t into SG Jetfire….

As someone who owns and likes NewAge SG Jetfire… I think this one looks better. The brighter accent colors, green square on the helmet, and clear green backpack window are all really nice. I also like how the wing stripe is silver instead of white.

Dang, counting the old Iron Factory one I’m gonna end up with three different Legends-scale SG Jetfires. :/ I feel like that should be some sort of red flag about my life choices…

How many spouses and/or significant others do you have? If the answer is 1, you are doing fine with life choices.
