We have quite an unexpected piece of Transformers merchandise. 2005 Boards member Gingerchris found a new Stretch Armstrong Transformers Stretch Bumblebee figure at a toyshop in the UK for £13.99. Also, 2005 Boards member StellarJet found a listing for this new figure viaUK store Kiddimax with some new stock images and the official product description.
The figure is modeled after G1 Bumblebee and stretches as much as you can to slowly return to his normal size and shape. We still have no information about a US release but an inactive Amazon listing with even more stock images.
Interested in this new Bumblebee figure? See all the new stock images and official product description after the jump and let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!
Stretch Armstrong Transformers Stretch Bumblebee Figure
About this item
- The one and only Stretch Bumblebee is here! Stretch him, pull him, tie him in knots. When you release him, he uses his amazing stretch to slowly return to his normal size and shape!
- Bumblebee is the “little brother” of the heroic Autobots and a mascot, constantly striving to prove himself in the eyes of the other robots—especially his leader, Optimus Prime.
- Bumblebee is one of Optimus Prime’s most trusted lieutenants.
- Although he’s not the strongest or most powerful of the Autobots, Bumblebee more than makes up for this with a bottomless well of luck, determination and bravery. He would gladly give his life to protect others and stop the Decepticons.
- Suitable from 5 years.

On the contrary, this may be the MOST articulated toy. Its whole body is a joint in a way.

How big is this figure? Do you have a picture of it next to like a deluxe Transformer figure? If not no worries.
Also, if anyone is in the U.S., Amazon has it for $14.99 USD (MSRP?), free shipping with Prime or orders over $25 for mortals. It's from a 3rd party seller but fulfilled by Amazon:

I don't know how long its been available for that price, but I just noticed it today. I ordered one out of curiosity and because it's so weird, bizarre, awesome, lol.

That's your opinion.
It's better than the Delect-O-Trons M&M's (That's the name, right?)!
Fort Max
Saw the star wars ones in smyths this past weekend, didn't see bumblebee but wasn't really looking.

People will complain about the lack of articulation.

Zzzzzz. No transform no buy.
But seriously, why Bumblebee? They had the perfect opportunity to make this a toy of Longarm from Animated. Then you could streeeeeeeetch him to create Animated Shockwave. Then he would transform, and then I would buy.

It was a shop called Kerrison Toys in Great Yarmouth town centre.
They had some Stretch Armstrong Star Wars characters too if that also happens to be new news of interest to anyone.

Was this made by Cliffjumper?

A great tool to teach kids what it means to be hanged, drawn and quartered. Or a great stress reliever for all the Bumblebee haters in the TF fandom! What's not to love?

Missed opportunity, should've been Wheelie.
