Thanks to 2005 Boards member Daimao we can confirm the first US sighting of the new Transformers Studio Series Core Class wave 4.
Studio Series Core Class G1 Rumble (blue) and Dark Of The Moon Laserbeak (Pink Bumblebee mold) were found at a Target store in Newport News, Virginia.
Happy hunting!

I’ve actually been seeing this wave restocked quite a bit lately at both Target and Walmart.
But, we have listings for a repack of Rumble, so I would not fret those who are still missing him!

Necropost!
I finally got mine. Went by the new Target they built by my place in Homestead.
And when I say new, I mean they were still constructing the building last time I posted.
Anyway, there was exactly one left with the packaging a little beat up.
But I couldn't care less! I finally have *cough* Frenzy in my collection.

Targets now have a sale on this one till 12/3 for $6. Are Targets still receiving Rumble or has that time period already passed?
Vanya
None of the stores I went to yesterday had Rumble, but one store did have 3 Laserbeaks.
ApocalypseThruster
I saw these two at the Mission Valley Target back on Saturday.

Any sightings in California Targets yet?

Because the paint apps are part of the budget, my guess is they'll never release one of those aforementioned figures without the excess paint because people would find a reason to complain. If anything, it would save Hasbro some money and the customer would still be happy to some degree but I don't run the show, so I don't really know what the heck goes through their minds when they make these decisions. I know a large number of people who'd jump at a properly colored Springer minus the puke paint.
As for Soundwave, more on that in a sec.
This.
Not poor planning, just what they could work with at the time. We've been told repeatedly that some lines are designed 2-3 years ahead of actual life on shelves. My guess is Siege Soundwave receiving a reissue without the battle damage (which does set a precedent that Hasbro doesn't seem to make sense on, so we should be able to get a pukeless Springer but won't…) because he was planned to for at least a year or more and the first year of Legacy (setting the building blocks of the line) was the best way to do it. Why have him come out in Evolution? The Coneheads are merely coming out because people clamored for them but we'll take it because good. I'd rather they use a way to reissue old molds at all, than none. It's not bad planning, it's the hand they were dealt. There was no time to change the packaging from Siege to Netflix, in time. Besides, he comes with two cassettes, which drives his price up. How the heck do they work around that, short of making him a Leader? (Which people would also bitch about. They can't win, sometimes.)

Anyone got the DPCI?

Then that is poor planning considering they managed to use the Netflix Bee mold in the Target set which hit around the same time (actually before locally) the Legacy wave 2 voyagers dropped. It probably is being held back try to get the SG Soundwave to sell. But I agree a bunch is probably also held for 2024.
I do hope the various Seeker re-releases get Coronation's opening hands. That might push a few extra sales.

They do and it's because at the time of planning Legacy they probably didn't have access to the mold yet.
I feel like we could see it in Buzzworthy or more likely in 2024 for Legacy.

If they have the rights to use Netflix Soundwave, I have to wonder why they bothered re-releasing the Siege version so recently? There had to have been other options, like maybe Dirge (who would fill the "blue dude" role and they have used the Ramjet tooling a couple times in Selects).
They could easily fluff out the SS86 voyager line-up with minor repaints of Springer (clean), Quintesson Judge (somewhat hard to find) maybe Cyclonus and Scourge reissue (not Sweep).

Wouldn't it be totally bonkers if Hasbro just released "Studio Series movie Rumble", the blue rhino from that one comic.
And it jut says "Rumble (Rhino)" on the box.
CobraKai
Thanks. I’m hoping tho. I’d like to say I’m kicking myself for missing it, but the fact that it was a Walmart exclusive made it hard for me to get.
RodimusRex
Nope.
Hasbro did indicate they just got rights back to the Netflix tapedeck mold when they did SG Soundwave.
We have the Studio Series lineup for 2023 leaked and there are no slots for it.
It's quite likely, I'd say, that we see Netflix Soundwave's mold in Buzzworthy Bumblebee in 2023.
Could be as Soundwave. Could be labeled SS86 like some BB figures. Or it could be as Soundblaster.
I wouldn't expect anything but the Netflix mold again over the next year though.
Nevermore
"They" who?
Vanya
That's definitely one of those situations where I'd just make one myself.
It would be very awkward for me if it were gifted to me, because even then I wouldn't want it and I don't even have the TR version.

Just a fyi the reason the box is so big on some of these figures is to save money. A machine has to be tooled to cut the boxes to the desired size and shape. While the printing of the box a different color/pattern doesn\'t really cost anything getting the cutting machine retooled does. So I mean if you want to pay 15 dollars for rumble instead of 12 I guess they could make a box especially for him, otherwise it\'s one size per class of figure.
RePUGnicon
Same. For people who don't have tr Wheelie or prefer 87 Wheelue then that's fine. But as someone who owns tr Wheelie than I don't think I could justify $4 either.
Now for $1 than sure. I'll just sell them for retail price for profit.
Rodimus Prime
I wouldn't pay $4 for the entire figure when I could.
RePUGnicon
I certainly wouldn't pay an extra $10 just for a little cheap piece of gray plastic.
