Courtesy of our very own 2005 Boards members HunterGreen2005 and TimToyGeek we can share for you a nice set of in-hand images of the new G.I. Joe x Transformers Bumblebee A.W.E. Striker.
This is the second entry in the Transformers Collaborative G.I. Joe x Transformers line which now bring us a completely new Bumblebee mold transformable into an A.W.E. Striker and packed with a Retro Card Sgt. Stalker figure. As we can see from the images, robot mode is blocky and original with a very intuitive transformation. But where this figure really shines is in the alt mode. A very compact, solid and detailed A.W.E. Striker which leaves almost no trace of the robot mode at all and it can interact with other o-ring G.I Joe figures.

Not only is it an obstructive eyesore it's heavy. I pull it off lats night and Bee's torso held together much better.

I got mine and overall the only really big problem I have is that damned rollbar cage in robot mode! I swear, Alternators Swindle and Hound had their rollbar cages fold up and compress better than this one! I can't fathom why they couldn't have designed it to do that.

Megs gun is so hollow I wonder if a gimmick was removed to cut costs. A firing missile gimmick/light up cannon would be cool.

Well yeah but a new non-hollow cannon for Megatron and a more collapsible roll cage for Bee would help a lot.

Upgrade kits aren't gonna save them.
These need redesigned from the ground up.

The backpack not folding up makes the figure harder to manipulate in robot mode–if only hasbro could have made those two lower rails rotate or something. My only other gripe for both megs and bee is the lack of upward/downward head movement.
Besides those issues I am over the moon with both figures and cant wait for more. Two new vehicle choices I thought of would be a HAVOC as Rodimus Prime and Galvatron as a DEMON.
Now knowing til all are one.

I may have said this before but both of these G.I. Joe crossovers need some upgrade kits.

Hips are kinda loose on mine, but other than that, much more solid than Megs.
(missing some parts to my SDCC Jetfire and Powerglide due to the flood so if anyone knows of any junkers for sale, unlikely I know, let me know)

I binged the 1st 2 seasons on Tubi a few months ago, for the first time since I was a kid. I was amazed how little I remembered of the series. Which is odd cuz I watched EVERYTHING in the 80s. Being that disconnected from it allowed me to see it without the nostalgia bias. Some shows were actually pretty dark, and others more adult themed than you’d expect in a kids show. My jaw dropped during the Ep where Baroness is in a bikini the whole time and then does a leg scissor takedown on Flint. Couldn’t stop chuckling….

Ah that makes a little more sense I guess. I was only familiar with the toon. Still, you’d think one of the more prominent joes would been a better fit. They chose bumblebee for name recognition even tho this isn’t a VW bug , & other TFs have had dune buggy Alt modes
trying to remember: was stalker one of the joes that stayed in the alternate universe in that ARAH Ep?

Oh wow. The side by side pics do a great job showing how well they hit on copying the original Striker toy.
But….that seemed to be the point.
They're GI Joe toys first, Transformers second. They've absolutely nailed the Joe vehicle aspect and then leaned in to the retro nature of those to produce something that looked like it jumped right out of the 80s.
Very similar to Tonkanator in that regard.
