This lol, I forgot CW leg are compatible with legacy
RodimusRex
Too bad the upgraded feet aren't still readily available. I liked all those CW feet upgrades and they helped make the feet bigger.
Lore Keeper
CW Legs don't work well with Legacy Motormaster. His thighs are short and too close together. Looks like he has dwarfism.

Eh. Just use Legacy Menasor with CW legs and the DNA Design upgrade kit. Same cost, probably.
Oniconvoy
I quite liked the robot mode. Just unfortunate about the other two.
megatroptimus
Most collectors do. CW Motormaster was a sad POS in all 3 modes.
RNSrobot
I really cw like motormaster. He's fun. He's just an atrocious torso. Silverbolt and hot spot are imperfect but both are very sturdy.
Foster
Not only Menasor's looks are impressive – due to the design, I haven't had a combiner this posable since JRX from Car Robots!
Lore Keeper
Yeah, it never made it past the prototype stage before the company was shut down, but I reference it a lot as proof that a good CW compatible Motormaster can be made at the Voyager or Leader price point. Hasbro just chose not to do it.
ClearAsChristal
Oh, I also love Menasor. His new toy looks amazing.
Ditko
I guess I\'m in the minority liking Menasor. I couldn\'t give a fuck if the cars make the arms. CW looked stupid, and sorry I don\'t see the 3P one being superior, or even something I would want. This looks stable, accurate and has personality. I want more.

Price is definitely a problem across all current Hasbro products, it's getting high, so I agree. In conclusion, Legacy Menasor is still miles ahead of CW imo, while I applaud CW for doing its own thing without catering to G1/Cartoon design.

I can't wait for these trainbots to be done with, I want new MP!

You know superion done up just like legacy menasor with jet hockey gear on the limbs is coming *meh*
I would be interested in bruticus or Defensor. Their animation models clearly have the different vehicles as the limbs, not "armor." But I mean. It's a losing battle anyway, as the limbs are stripped of all detail to be plain rectangles outside of color/one or two bits. The cw combaticons as individual figures would all do well with do-overs.
RNSrobot
So let me clarify with no snark.
I fully understand the "g1 toon" focus and asthetic. And for those who prioritize that over anything else, a "typical" combiner menasor would really not be able to meet that need. We all know menasor's animation model is wildly different from his toy.
While it's not *for me*, I understand the intent.
Seeing the finished combiner, at the prices mainline has become, is disappointing. I like the overall torso but I think despite barely being a combiner it doesn't do a very good job appearance-wise. For the things it does well, like individual motormaster or the clever way it splits drag strip and dead end, it does other things poorly or mediocre.
Pick your poison, no shade on anybody who is all in on him. So far we have two generations menasor and both have unfortunate issues.
Whoa. 3p motormaster that never came to be? That looks dope. I like the individual cw Stunticons quite a bit. Just a shame motormaster is such a shite torso.
And while I understand why hastak didn't go for full compatibility with the cw limbs on legacy menasor, they went halfway as a tease. Lol.

I have a version of MS’s Menasor, and it’s neat to have all the possible combinations, but Hasbro’s offering is significantly more fun to play with.
They wiffed it with Breakdown, and Dead End looks so-so, but I’m still looking forward to completing him. Plus, he’s the only one where Motormaster is actually integral to Menasor.
Far from perfect, but really fun.
Now, if MMC does one…

It's just WFC/Legacy by nature, they had to stick with G1 aesthetic, considering they already goes uber-new not G1 but still-G1-aesthetic in previous line. People should've expect it right from the start, so idk why it's a big deal now. Should've complained since Siege started out.
mrzero
Nobody called it a homerun, but I still like the overall looks, can you imagine that? Wow someone like a giant transforming robot, what a surprise
Lore Keeper
RIP what could have been.

100% agree
People can attack me if they want I don't care. Look Menasor has always had a shit design when it comes to the actual combining part of it. As unstable as cw Menasor is, at least the Stunticons actually formed arms and legs rather than just wannabe tattoo sleeves. And it seems like Menasor is the only combiner that's been shackled with this, because most modern Superions have dropped the g1 toon look of everyone strapped to Silverbolt.
