Transformers Studio Series Core Class Rumble In-Hand Images

Courtesy of 2005 Boards member Lumaken we can share for you some new in-hand images of the highly anticipated Transformers Studio Series Core Class Rumble.

This figure has started to ship unexpectedly via Amazon EU and we now have some closer shots at this new Rumble mold (Hasbro’s packaging says he’s blue) which is still compatible with the Siege/Netflix Soundwave mold or even with Kingdom Blaster. As we can see from the images, the sculpt and deco are based on Rumble’s appearance in the classic Transformers: The Movie 1986. He comes with his blasters and piledrivers. Unfortunately, the piledrivers don’t extend.

Has Rumble been seen in Canada? I really want this fella.

I haven't seen him, but then again here in BC we seem to get things dead last

…Is he seriously still called "Rumble (Blue)" even in the Japanese release, even though the Japanese dub of G1 switched the names around so the blue one for both the toys and the cartoon was called Frenzy?

I guess thats part of the brand unification and all, but it does feel somewhat silly :rolleyes: 

Yeah, it's silly, but I do wonder if there's a segment of reverse-weeaboos in Japan who are really into it. I kinda miss the LG days when the boxes had the Western name in English and the Japanese names in Katakana.

I can try scanning it with my phone with the target circle app. That way I can put it on my shopping list and can check which store has en in stock m

Pardon the ignorance but what data can be drawn from this code?

I believe they can use it to look up the toy in assorted US retailers' inventory systems to find out who has it and where, in order to expedite purchase.

What's silly is how everyone is going insane over a name that's just printed on the box & instructions, not on the toy itself.

… Yet nobody blinks an eye when some 3p comes out with "cassette warrior Blue Framalamble-piledriver man-boy"…

I'd guess that's because third party will never be canon.

I still want to know the reasoning behind that one. Like, what was it about Shockwave and/or the Revenge that made the creators think "POTATO" :lolol
