They could always repack the figure as a Generations Selects and sell it on Pulse

The only Amazon-exclusive sets I had problems with were the Earthrise Seeker Elite set and the Galactic Odyssey Paradron Medics set and neither disappeared during shipping. Amazon actually canceled both sets due to limited supply. I had no problems getting the WFC Kingdom and Legacy sets that I wanted. I also missed out on the Netflix Earthrise Soundwave and Bumblebee figures from Walmart. I managed to get the Netflix version of Cheetor and got Velocitron Override on sale.

It just has to work well enough to scare people of getting sued by Warren Beatty.

What a bunch of cheaters.
Wait, he does that? And it works? Weird.
But then, what happens when he passes on?

I just want to say that both based on my collecting experience and these forums:
Whenever any professor in my MBA program talked about Walmart's superior supply and distribution logistics, I had to try very hard to avoid laughing. I've seen a lot of Walmart AND Target exclusives that never hit my area and I go online and they have stores with endcaps full. And there are two Walmarts that I know to go to for exclusives because they get more exclusives than the other ten or so nearby.
Also: Amazon was never as good as touted and they've gotten worse in the last 6-8 months for me. After their drivers lost about 6 of my packages, they threatened to close my account if I got any more replacements. After that, I started using Amazon pickup and now I have a package that disappeared after being scanned on Sunday morning and the product listing has been deleted so I can't get a replacement.
I remember when Toys R Us closed, all the retailers saying they would pick up the slack. And in my experience, the only ones to do so have been Pulse, EE, and BBTS. These retailers were not built to handle exclusives or any product with an assortment SKU. They skip waves if there's one peg warmer and they'll put an entire exclusive at two stores in the country (I'm pretty sure I've seen this) or send them all to a few stores in Canada and declare mission accomplished.
This is like when Warren Beatty does zoom meetings in costume as Dick Tracy every few years to keep the movie rights.
TargetmasterJoe
Fixed that for you.

They may not have the option if Walmart didn't pick it up. We don't know how the contracts work so it could still be covered as an "exclusive" even if it was never produced. Similar to when authors have their book optioned but never actually made in to a movie or show.

BBTS was also burned by exclusives in the past. Took them forever to get rid of those clear TF Prime toys. And the Seacons. And Battle Unicorn. But, then, seeing some of the massively overpriced dumpster bait they've solicited or co-funded recently, they may have a new buyer that'll fall for anything.

Honestly I think it would've been pretty easy to get like Override/Road Hauler, not to say there was no demand though
Boople Barp
I wouldn't…the mock up was largely unchanged from the base deco. I can't imagine people are chomping at the bit for a shot at a voyager which is already pretty available.
Poe Ghostal
You can't tell me EE/BBTS wouldn't take that Velocitron Hot Rod in a heartbeat.
WishfulThinking
No. It's been canceled and won't be produced, TMK. Since it was canceled by Walmart, though, there might be some tiny glimmer of hope that Target might pick it up as a Red Card exclusive…with it being red and all.

It’s not certain. It was a Walmart exclusive dropped by Walmart. I can only guess. My Walmart has reduced the size of its Transformers section. With movie toys and a new cartoon space is limited. My frustration with Walmart…
They made a commitment they should figure it out. Hopefully they will end up a Ross like all the cancelled wave 4s usually end up. This is not the first or the last time this will happen.

i really hope armada red alert happens here and armada demolishor that way we would got the original 3 from each side only missing cyclonus to got the full original cast, would be nice too armada jetfire and armada wheeljack to got a respectable armada cast, i think red alert is possible since he was related to the speed planet on cybertron , and armada wheeljack is a sport car

I seem to recall reading in one of those Hasbro roundtable discussions that it had been delayed/pushed back.

Walmart.com still is just out of stock

Not within the USA.

Asking for a friend, since it was never of any interest to me. Was the Speedia Hot Rod ever listed for sale?
Obnimaz
For real though, I've come so close to buying the Machine Robo Go-Bot homages, I would be all over Hasbro doing some 'official' ones. I can add a Drax to my Transformers shelf next to Death's Head once Hasbro releases an official Cy-Kill
