TFW’s Jtprime17 has brought us a very unexpected reveal in the form of the identity and first look at the previously-unknown Legacy Velocitron Leader – turns out it’s Victory Universe Galaxy Shuttle, a retool of Siege Astrotrain!
Check out all the pics and let us know what you think!

So Galaxy Shuttle was being distributed as food and stocked next to the Bumblebee tuna? No wonder nobody could find him in the US.

Low ordering for Walmart. Seemed that VS was in abundance in other markets. I really want to know what happened behind the scenes over here in England.
for that who don’t know. Since the sterted do the Netflix line, maybe before but I wasn’t collecting before 2020, Smyths toy superstores (basically TRU) carried the Walmart lines. This included Velocitron. Unlike in the US however, characters are mostly distributed cases, not assortments. So we had as many cosmos’ as the other figures (you wouldn’t think this being here though as if something is rare in America, it gets bought up and scalped by arses over here). But then when it came to wave 2, Victory shuttle was instead a wide release, not an exclusive, and then the rest of the line showed up at other retailers too. I assume that this was due to heavy shelf warming by most of the line, even Override and Scourge. But then the wave 2 deluxes never even made an appearance, bar imports. And now come Toxitron, Smyths aren’t carrying them at all and they’re just a wide general release like Buzzworthy.
I can only assume that they gave up on exclusivity due to poor sales, but I’m still intrigued in the legalities and how it all works with the Walmart exclusives transitioning over to general release here

If anyone could help me find a galaxy shuttle for a fair price lemme know

It's weird they seemed unhappy with velocitron, then went all in on those weird plush tf art dolls of all things. Our store has more tf plush than rise toys

Negative. Glad Walmart fulfilled my online preorder . Same with Cosmos, and glad I snagged Crasher and Shadowstrip in store when I could.

I saw the deluxes,,, once. If I knew about Venksta's alternate heads for Crasher I would have bought her.

Iirc, the concurrent release of earthspark with Velocitron W2 lead to Walmart canning the voyager and leader spots altogether and barely ordering any new deluxes to save for shelf space, and with all that ordered an abysmally low production of Galaxy Shuttle for online orders and didn’t order production of Hot Rod whatsoever
*disclaimer all of this information is either from the boards or from a vague memory on hot rod’s failure to release being commented on by hasbro during a panel
