Yesterday saw the reveal of Transformers cards being introduced into the Magic the Gathering game proper. Today during the MTG panel at Pulsecon 2022, we get even more reveals. Megatron, Ultra Magnus, Cyclonus, Prowl, Ratchet, Blitzwing, Arcee and Blaster all get traditional offerings. In addition, many of those were also offered in Shattered Glass versions. We’ve attached those and yesterday reveals to this story. Read on to check the caps!

It's just a guess, it could be anything. Ben mentioned something is gonna be revealed.
That's their fault. It's okay to speculate, but people need to learn to stop blaming anyone but themselves when they let their hype train go wild.

Kingdom also had more waves so Legacy had more figures in less waves.

It’s always a shit storm on these threads. Sometimes it’s drier and just kinda bounces off you, other times it’s straight up liquid fecal rain and it leaves a stain, but it’s rarely sunny with blue skies here at TFW2005.

They've been doing plenty of repaints, and I definitely expect a decent amount more repaints to come, but they at least seem a lot less off the wall. Back in WFC we got stuff like Crosshairs, but recently it's been far more focused on simple toy/diaclone repaints or more deliberate character choices like SG. The repaints and retools we're gonna get will be less along the lines of a machine wars character and more along the lines of an Armada Sideways or G2 Dead End: important character or safe repaint variant of the same character.

Nope, just speculation. Remember to go into the stream expecting nothing otherwise we are going to have a repeat of the February Fan Friday Stream. So many people thought because the announcement had a headshot of Megatron that it meant the stream would show off Legacy Wave 2 since it was mostly Cons. That didn't end up happening and it was a shit storm on here for like a week,
RePUGnicon
Has it been confirmed that Omega Sentinel is what they are showing off at the premium stream?
Fenrys
-Kingdom saw roughly 33 non mainline repaints between capsules and Selects (not counting Batllemasters)
-Legacy saw roughly 39 non mainline repaints between capsules and Selects
-Legacy Evolution currently has 4 non mainline repaints revealed in the Velocitron capsule
They're still doing plenty of random off the wall repaints, if anything the number of them has only increased with the increased number of capsule collections.
T-Hybrid
You say this within a week or so of Galaxy Shuttle going up for preorder and likely within 24 hours of Omega Sentinel.
NexMix
Yeah, I definitely feel like they won't do too many random off the wall repaints for a while. Nightbird? For sure. Laser Ultra Magnus? Highly doubtful.

Why sell it as a Titan when you can piece out the figures and get extra sales that way?
Because kids may like certain car bots and not want a whole other combiner, and thanks to their engineering none of the limb-bots come as "incomplete" standing alone on a shelf like the CW limbs did.
Even Motormaster to a lesser extent embraces this by having a "brute mode" with his trailer.
Fenrys
We got less selects this year, but we've seen a bit of an uptick in the retailer capsules collections at the same time.
RodimusRex
You know, I kinda think the repaint market is dying down with the economic belt tightening. We're seeing a lot less in Selects and they're skipping really obvious ones.
I originally expected G2 Menasor boxed as a Selects Titan but they're clearly spacing it out a lot, probably across retailers.
So far, no Dinobots repaints.

I have pre ordered the breakdown, Orion pax and alpha Trion

I feel like the reason Hasbro did Cores is because 3rd party legends have taken off. I could see them doing combiners at core to hold the trademark for some guys. Studio 86 shows they will do characters at different sizes close together( example: Ironhide/Ratchet 86 in core and Voyager) so Devastor in 2024 for the 40th could work. Plus core is more affordable for kids

I'm stupid excited for a Dinoking repaint (hopefully retool here and there). I know the scale might be off, but whatever, I like seeing them do goofy things like this. As long as it's fun to mess with and they make it obtainable, I'm cool with it!
Snakeguy
speaking of dinoking… https://twitter.com/TFU_INFO/status/1583184727665610752

I've been wondering how the hands and feet will be handled on the upcoming Volcanicus. I kinda doubt that Grimlock and Snarl are going to come with dedicated feet, but a Dinoking box set might. If so, that may raise his height a bit.
KibblerGrrrl
Yep, I'd be very happy with a Unite Warriors Devastator that was slightly retooled for those reasons.
I'm also fine with them at that current larger size too.
Agreed.
PloverNutter
Star Saber is quite a bit taller than even the Dinobot leader figures. Based on the behind the scenes pics of Volcanicus “completed” using fossilizer parts, Vocanicus/Dinoking will be a little shorter than a SS86 Dinobot.
