Attention Legacy collectors! Out of nowhere we have our first in-hand images of the last Legacy Stuntincon: Breakdown.
Thee images come from our very own 2005 Boards members kentan99 and vproject and a Shopee listing. Legacy Breakdown shows a pretty solid alt mode with a removable spoiler and a robot mode which shares some engineering with Legacy Wildrider. To top it all, we have our first look at the complete form of Legacy Menasor which looks as cartoon-accurate as expected.
See the new images after the jump and then join to the ongoing discussion on the 2005 Boards!

Well, I just got my copies of Wild and Break, and both had that dreaded windshield break after first transformation. Is it gonna affect the alt mode in any way or no?
It almost looks like the tab that would peg into the back of the roof did it, didn't look like there was any slot for it.

Nothing isn't entirely accurate in the context you have used it…..

Nothing done for the alt mode unfortunately.
Easy pass for me.

But not as PUNNY

Its contagious with the other Legacy Evolution boxes.

Cool I see. I thought maybe that's what you did, I was right.

I'm missing someone in the thread…….

Noneff mentioned a set for wildrider/breakdown is being done on twitter, all that seems you'd be getting is tire covers, fillers and a new spoiler.

I’m hoping NonNef takes a stab at it. Even with a 100 micron resin printer, I have hit and misses with some parts, especially curved surfaces.
For 2 more small molds, Hasbro could have gotten so much goodwill from fans.

I looked through all my toyhax sheets that I keep once I use the stickers I want; and looked for something close in color.
Used an Exacto knife and just cut individual stripes and stuck them on. Super simple but very effective.

I really wish they'd give you the option to only buy the vehicle mode detail stickers (stripes, license plates, manufacturer logos, racing sponsors, emergency/military markings, etc.) without the robot mode stickers or the huge window stickers. I'd save sooo much money on them lol.
flik68
Yeah the only thing I get from toyhax is symbols and cell shaded window decals.
VerdantWind
Awesome news! Now I just have to wait for 3P to make these in injection molded parts.
Did you use paint or is that some sort of sticker? And honestly the Toyhax version looks so messy.
gbm
Yep, again I agree.
Another thing they started doing, and this is when I began noticing the extra, unwanted stuff….is when the stickers were meant to go OVER the already molded detail. Pointless.

Their goal is to design stickers to add detail. Whether or nor the character needed the detail because it was lacking it from the show or toy is secondary because they want to make sets for every retail figure now so they design these busy, over-complicated sticker sets that rely on the 80's style of detailing meaning the stickers give the detailing that the molding couldn't. Except now, molding does give detailing and the techy stickers that they design now absolutely clash with the modern design philosophy of modern toys with lots of sculpted details. And so many people fail to realize this huge clash of aesthetics today.
gbm
Totally agree.
And I feel there was a definitive moment when they began including SO MUCH extra stuff, that I personally, did not want.
In the last 2 or 3 years, I literally have been using like 1/4 of the stickers they offer.
This would be a good example.
