Thanks to 2005 Boards member Dilbertron and SegaGenesis for sharing in our boards photographic proof of their sighting of the new Transformers Cyberverse Smash Changer Optimus Prime at US retail.
This new 9-inch Optimus Prime figure which transforms from truck to robot in just 3 steps… by smashing the figure to do it. It’s good to notice that the robot mode design is pretty similar to Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime rather than Cyberverse, and some might say it could be an early Rise Of The Beasts Optimus Prime toy. It was found at a Meijer store in Greenwood, Indiana and a Walmart in Lynnwood, Washington for $33.99
Happy hunting!

I think a lot of reviewers, if not all, are transforming this figure incorrectly. @arun09345 just shared a video on his Instagram which showcase the correct way to transform.
You are not supposed to quickly hit or slam on the button like everyone else does. You are supposed to press and hold the button. By pressing and holding, the locks are released one at a time. That is why the review videos have the transformation all wonky. That is why on the videos we see the reviewer pressing the button multiple times, because one press doesn't release all the locks.
After that you do the smash.
Last step is the smash, not the button.

Yeah, whoever did it completely forgot that SS figures are numbered

View attachment 29665559 I was a able to find the image. looking at it now it does look heavily digibashed.
TF Hot Rod
Yeah there where no leaked listings for a Voyager ROTB Prime coming next year.
Daimao
I don't think Optimus is even on the list of leaked voyagers for 2023
MagicM621
No no, there was another one I found on another website. I forgot the name of the site but it was an Studio Series release of Optimus prime for Rotb. I have the image saved on my computer I just can't post for some reason.

You don't happen to mean the Authentics Titan Changer, which people keep insisting is a ROTB toy even though other have explained over and over again why it isn't?

Or do you mean the transforming role-play mask, which we first saw back in June?

Or maybe this figure, which we first saw back in March?

Here’s a quick look.

Unless stores aren't interested in Role Play toys unless they're specifically Halloween stock.
SilverOptimus
Indeed. The only reason I can think of Hasbro taking even this long to put the toys in retail is the fact that they are refreshing the packaging. I can confirm that the Masks will come out in February 2023. This is odd since the shipments are already here and Hasbro would be wise to capitalize on Halloween.
T-Hybrid
That's interesting because I'd have assumed MV7 was a general retail designation but now it's BB which would make it Target exclusive.
Which SUCKS because at least for a while there Walmart was carrying the media line one step stuff.
Hasbro really got hung out to dry when Paramount pushed out the release.
Chadderbug
I doubt that they'd do the Botcon version. But, if they do, that means we're also getting the RID Brothers since those and Sideburn shared molds.
LeonSteamhawk
Ironically what caught my eye in the pic is the Beast Wars Cybershark. My local Walmart hasn't even gotten them, and they're already being put on clearance?

SWEET. Thank you!
TF Hot Rod
Neat, hopefully maybe those One Steps come out maybe in October or at least November but who knows.
SilverOptimus
I received a listing where this toy which was originally named "TRA MV7 Smash Changers Optimus Prime" is now "TRA Cyberverse Smash Changers Optimus Prime".
On the same listing "TRA MV7 One Step Ast" is now "TRA MV7 BB One Step Ast".

With this being not-canceled now, I'm curious to see if anything else will leak out
TF Hot Rod
Interesting didn't know that. Will be curious to see.

This toy was marked for October 6th.
ROTB One-Steps are now being repackaged as Buzzworthy Bumblebee. No release date yet.
