Oh I'm stupid I read it as hot rod
IgnikaMarcus
Armada Jetfire was heavily based on Galaxy Shuttle.
Jalen Gatton07
What the connection
Optimus1138
On the plus side about Galaxy Shuttle, maybe if the Velocitron one ends up being really hard to get that makes it more likely that they'd make another more accurate one if we get a new Armada Jetfire?
ThePrime84
Sad to hear Velocitron Hot Rod had to take Needlenose's spot in Miami
IgnikaMarcus
Would you by any chance be able to source me one if I cover cost and shipping? He's nowhere in my area.
Jalen Gatton07
And us galaxy shuttle
NamorBot
oh their interview covered that?
Shame, but all that produced stock has to be somewhere I suppose. Might end up all back on Pulse, unless the orders were canned at a manufacturing level, which if so, yeesh
and yeah retro is reissue (Retro 2 is starscream)
John Titor
Walmart distribution and ordering is at the national level, so each country will have its mix of distribution woes. For instance while your Walmart can't even get Scourge, it seems most walmarts in Canada never got the SS BB Ironhide/Arcee wave nor the SS Junkheap, and there have been no retro beast wars products since Tigatron. Plus, Tonkinator has no Canadian release. Just examples to show that it's never really greener on the other side.
TFXProtector
Retro, I'm assuming is the reissue line?

I bit the bullet in december and bought a GS on ebay. He's pretty cool
T-Hybrid
Oh shoot that's right. I had forgotten that Pulse actually cancelled a batch of Velocitron preorders.
Rodimus Prime
Either that or wait two years and hope Hasbro re-release him. It's particularly annoying to me since I have been waiting forever for a white space shuttle to turn into Spay-c, my first Gobot.
Yes, I had it preordered and foolishly canceled it for Pulse, only to have Hasbro cancel my order.
T-Hybrid
They didn't "push back" Hot Rod…they just never released him. That's the gist of the interview, if I read it correctly. It was planned but Walmart never went forward with it. As for Galaxy Shuttle, his case was labeled "Velocitron LDR 2" or some variation of that, which is why we had no idea *what* was inside until it was revealed alongside the initial preorders.
Omegaclaw
Okay then
NamorBot
Completely uninformed guess to venture, but they might have pushed back velocitron voyager and leaders for later to make shelf space for the Earthspark toys. Scourge’s shelf info had “black convoy” on it, so there is likely going to be an easy identifier when shuttle rolls out. Alternatively, they never put up dedicated tags and each store fends for themselves on how they want to put it out
marvel b
Legacy, Stdio SRS, and Retro are self explanatory. Terran is Earthspark. Tacticon I believe are the Optimus fingering toys.
No Velocitron voyagers or Leaders.
Poe Ghostal
A friend of mine sent me this pic from his local Walmart – I've personally no idea what I'm looking at though.
Skreeonk
That's my thought. GS isn't too high on my want list, but I've got a feeling he'll one day just show up and be fairly widely available. I can wait until then.
NamorBot
I have yet to see *tags* for Galaxy shuttle or Hot Rod at Walmart's yet. The positive for the deluxe line for Crasher and Shadowstrip are that the tag is the same so the stock hits the shelf as it’s processed. A lot of stores just jam new stock anywhere it’ll fit once it arrives, but I don’t think we’ve had a reported retail sighting for either yet even still. Chances are they’re in the Minerva boat of some online stock hitting and selling way early, and then finally hitting brick and mortar and consistent online availability far later
