Via Weibo user 巨大化鹏鹏 we can share for you our first images of the gray prototype and a colored test shot of the upcoming Magic Square Masterpiece Scale MS-02 Light Of Piece (Optimus Prime 2.0).
As we can see from the images, this a cartoon-accurate Masterpiece scale mold which is pretty similar to Magic Square’s Legends MS-B46 Light of Victory Optimus Prime 2.0 but, as mentioned by our boards members, it shows some small changes and extra details. It shows an impressive level of poseability, an opening chest for the Matrix and a very compact backpack. It’s still unclear if this new release will include a trailer, but stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates.
Update: Via Weibo user WuSssTtt we have new images of the color test shot from different angles and showing off his poseability. We can confirm that the official name will be MS-02 Light Of Peace.
See the new images after the break and the let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

You can print, or draw, the shattered glass cracks out and put them under the windows for a template. It makes the job as easy as tracing lines. The MP-44 and MP-44KO use a dual-pane chest/alt window design (that's sandblasted) that makes the cracks on the bot mode not visible on his alt mode. I think that MS-02 uses a single pane so if you were to add the bullet holes they would shift when you transform him. Sandblasting also isn't possible because one mode will lose its glass finish.

The MP-10 KO trailer is still available here and for a decent price
4th Party No brand MP size Trailer / Convoy (KO Version fit to MP size Optimus Prime)

There were KO MP-10 trailers several years back. I know they at least came in the standard silver color and in black (for Nemesis Prime) but I don't know if there were other colors. I feel like I remember there being other colors but I'm just not sure. Either way, they would be long out of print and difficult to find at this point.
Yeah, I wouldn't have the guts to try it, even if I did want him to have the cracked windshield (which I really don't). If the blade is fresh and sharp and you're really gentle (not trying to dig too deep into the plastic), it should be pretty easy but I'd still be afraid of screwing it up.

I confess to considering this as an option, but it's a bit beyond my previous DIY projects,

Can anyone recommend a trailer to go with the White Prime / Ultra Magnus? I would like to put an Ultra Magnus looking trailer for it… but I cant think one that would fit the bill.
Snaku
@artimus prime showed up how to do it. A sharp xacto and a steady hand.

Who's gonna step up to the plate and actually crack the plastic during production for their rendition of the character?
Snaku
I'm still fighting the temptation. It's tempting just because it's a very aesthetically pleasing deco and because Optimus is always awesome. What's kinda funny is that it's actually more tempting to me because they didn't do the cracked windshield. I never liked the fake looking white painted windshield crack and because, again, the character has no meaning to me, the lack of that detail isn't detrimental to me.
What's stopping me is realizing that, as cool as I think this deco looks, if I buy him, he'll quickly become just another figure on the shelf that I'll quickly forget about. I'm trying to steer clear of those and focus more on the figures that I'll stop and stare at whenever I look at my shelves. The ones that really bring me joy.

I finally caved and preordered the SG version from showZ. I've wanted a shattered glass version prime for a while, AND I've been tempted by the MS Prime in all his previous forms. $120 at showZ made it too hard to pass up.
Hot Shot.
It should be possible with a white eraser as long as you're careful.

Me too, and mine too… So I'm following this!
Received and Transformed him today, but I don't really get the hype of this figure. Thought it could maybe replace my TE, but I'm sure it definitely can not
Primal Suit
Just got my TC copy, but the leg ratchets going outward are super loose on one side. Is there any fix for that?
MV Steve
Take the pin out and place the chest piece in place to see if the holes line up. If the pin hole and the parts rotational hole are completely off, then it won't work. If that's the case, I'd request parts from MS to make things easy. If that is a hassle and you have to work with what you have, I'd fill the hole completely with epoxy and drill a new centered hole offer it sets, just make sure it's the right size for the pin to press in.
I have a few parts from MS that the holes were molded completely off, like not just a little, way off! So this doesn't surprise me. I wonder how they can set up the mold for injecting with parts off like that, weird.
Gshell
That is what worries me is the hole. Seems off. Either its off like you say or its slightly too big and thats why it comes off. Might be why it broke off. Ill try super glue if not the epoxy.
MV Steve
Yeah, definitely a sensitive area to work on. If the pin isn't sloppy loose in the hole and still fits but without enough pressure to hold a press fit, super glue may be sufficient. If the hole is out of round where the pin has no grip whatsoever, epoxy is another option and should cure making it rock solid. Both of these require some care to not overdo it and glue the parts together, just use a toothpick to lightly apply it in the hole. Then there is the low head screw option which could work pretty good but you'd have to measure the pin to find the right size and even using a screw, I'd probably still use a dab of super glue on the threads to keep it from backing out when you rotate the part.
What's weird is the hole for the pin is not center, I'm not sure if that's correct and may be the cause of the whole problem.

I wonder if it would be possible to get those tampos off without stripping the paint underneath. I love the figure's overall look but I am not a fan of detail that is painted on and not molded in. If they had put some nice molded detail in there of pistons and circuits or whatever, I think it would have looked a lot better.
Gshell
Yeah its the parts where the chest rotates from bot to truck.
MV Steve
Pictures? If it's the part where the chest rotates for bot to alt transformation, that is a short shallow pin. Tough to say without seeing though what a good fix would be, possibly a low head screw from an electronics screw kit.
Gshell
Looking for some possible fix. Bought the Ultra Magnus version and the right chest just popped off. It seems like the screw didn't properly thread into the chest and perhaps there's a small chip to where the hole might be too big. Any ideas on how to fix it? Also, the right shoulder seems pretty tight. Tried loosening the screw underneath but it does seem to want to budge.
