Takara Tomy Mall have just updated their pre-orders for February 2023. This time we have listings for several of the recently revealed Legacy and Studio Series figures:
- Legacy
- Studio Series
It’s good to notice that all of these figures will be regular retail releases and none of them are listed as Takara Tomy Mall exclusives.

Remember when Hasbro show Override a missing left arm?

The biggest difference is that TT versions don't have the ugly product codes stamped on the figures.
Also, because they're being manufactured after the Hasbro batches, they incorporate any running changes or improvements that have been made during earlier runs.
They do have their own boxes though, not just a sticker. It's become more apparent now that Hasbro is doing those open boxes. TakaraTomy's boxes don't have plastic-less windows in em.
Girl Pants
Unless it's MP or the rare exclusive, they pretty much just straight "import" everything now. It's basically the same as how some Takara stuff is imported to the West on Pulse with basically nothing more than a slip cover added. And who knows, it might actually do better in Japan as an """exotic import""" rather than just another domestic mecha. But yeah, either way it doesn't *really* matter.
I do miss the LG boxes that used both – like having "Trypticon" and "ダイナザウラ" (Dinosaurer) written on there.
Mega Prowl
You know what would be good right now? Having these figures out in the US, right now. But since we can't get these at the moment it makes me mad that we can't get these at the moment.
SS86 Ironhide may be on Amazon now, but at the moment, it'll take too long to ship the figure, and bear with me here, I looked below the buy button, and the ETA showed that Irionhide would be shipped at the start of next year!
Unbelievable, I thought Amazon was supposed to be trustworthy!
Fenrys
They were actually initiated by Hasbro not Takara, Takara just took lead with developing the fiction after Hasbro developed the initial concept
YellowCorvette
While not necessarily the biggest deal, I honestly don't really get why the Japanese Takara release of these Legacy figures doesn't use their original Japanese names, like for example there's no reason why Takara's Legacy Cybertron Universe Override release can't be called Legacy Galaxy Force Universe Nitro Convoy instead? In the same vein, Takara could've referred to Legacy Armada Universe Starscream as Legacy Micron Legend Universe Starscream (Since y'know, both Micron Legend and Galaxy Force were initiated by them, to begin with).

2 different releases. Siege Nemesis was a straight repaint of Siege Optimus Prime with the sword from TR Alpha Trion replacing the axe, Netflix Nemesis had a different accessory loadout, a different deco and included the trailer from Earthrise Optimus prime and Takara also released that version.
No, they didn't. That was a prototype that they used for promotional shots and it was never intended to be the release version of the figure

Also Takara did the Earthrise Alicon pink repaint

Didn't hasbro have the netflix siege nemesis?

He'd be way too small, but by god, we need a chug fallen figure. He could be a remold of Tarn?

RK route would be most practical(if you're ready to be patient as HK undergoes a whole lot of "lockdowns"/delays. Nothing political here mods as I have experience such prior with my orders).
TTM is region locked that it won't process foreign CCs. Aaaaaaaaaand the prices are "taxed".
TTM is TT's answer to ensuring that such "not so mainline (?)" products get sold as in committed paid upfront sold.

premium finish maybe?

I think nothing would make me happier than to see the usual counterfeiters in China make ample stock of the figures HasTak refuses to. Send them a message and eat the scalpers' lunch to boot.
Black Convoy
Robotkingdom usually carries those TTM exclusives.
Szilko
I'm starting to like this even more.

Very nice. Placed an order on TT Mall for Cosmos, Clampdown, Override, and Road Racer. I managed to get the others on US Amazon and Walmart online but missed these four (exclusives are annoying to get, especially Cosmos and Clampdown).
SteVdub
Scourge is defo available in UK

So this won't make it any easier for people to get Cosmos and Clampdown outside of Japan then? Damn. Good for the Japanese fans though, I imagine TakTom's site is a hell of a lot more reliable than Wal-Mart
