Takara Tomy website have updated their Legacy Velocitron Speedia 500 listings with a new manga/comic to present the characters.
Illustrated by artist Hayato Sakamoto, this 2-page manga features the first Takara Tomy Mall exclusive Velocitron Speedia figures revealed for the Japanese market. As we should have expected, it’s a race between Road Rocket, Blurr, Dia Burnout, and Road Hauler, but we can also spot other upcoming characters like Cosmos, RID Scourge, Override and Clampdown.
See the mirrored images after the jump (only in Japanese text at the moment) and share your impressions on the 2005 Boards.

Yup. I same about 1000 to 3500 yen per figure. Oh well

GL Try this now
But to hear this from a JP based member having to import……….is the domestic tax that high?
Gamerlingual
TT Mall only gave the Velocitron figures a limited window to preorder and they can only be ordered online. Thus, increasing the difficulty of finding them in Japan. In my case, items that are widely available overseas but not Mall exclusives, I import. Velocitron included which I ordered 5 figures
Jalen Gatton07
Ah, they're a bit harder to get in Japan?
Gamerlingual
Yup female. Also considering you could only order through Takara Tomy mall and not shops in general, she will pop up once in a while at hobby shops that buy back.
Jalen Gatton07
Burnout is actually a female!
Chicagolander
Well obviously, but presumably they wouldn't have much luck trying to see him above MSRP if he were sitting on shelves somewhere much more readily available.
Gamerlingual
They bought them from someone and sold them for a higher price. Not a retail release
Chicagolander
Spotted Burnout at Mandarake Akihabara tonight, making me think that he wasn’t a shelfwarmer par excellence in Japan the way he still is in the US.
Edwardmus Prime
Just noticed the Miko in someone's profile pic came from this. Oh come on, we have two versions of her now and not one release of her in the Apex Armor? Wouldn't mind this version either. The uniform suits her.
Neko-bot77
He's removing a few boulders AT MOST, not bringing Mt. Fuji down on the race track. He's INCONVENIENCING the other racers, not destroying them.
SecretWyvern
Most of them overused jokes amongst the fandom
Oniconvoy
There are plenty of examples of death by crushing in this franchise.
Neko-bot77
A rock slide is about as deadly to transformers as it is to Wile E. Coyote.
Automorpher
Geez, Road Hauler was after all, a Constructicon ain't he?
Never trust a Destron/Decepticon they say…
RodimusRex
Thank goodness they didn't give Cosmos that power.
3P Desperation
You can recreate Roadrocket\'s shadow clone skill with all the copies clogging the shelves!
T-Hybrid
He wasn't trying to kill them. He was just making sure his friends were nice and cozy under a pile of rocks.
GizmoTron
G1 Miko and Prime/Aligned Miko. Alternate universes/histories, but same old Miko.
ClearAsChristal
Especially Skybyte. Or Fire Convoy. What am I saying, we can't do Fire Convoy without God Magnus! Oh, and the other Predacons! Maybe Rail Racer? I'm not so sure how to Six-Changing Gigatron would work though…
RID was cool.
