Diamond Selects Toys have updated their website with listings of their new Transformers: Beast Wars Optimus Primal & Megatron Milestones Statues.
First revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2022, these statues bring us Optimus Primal and Megatron in their original forms from the Beast Wars season 1 cartoon. Each one stands 14 inches tall and are limited to 1000 units worldwide. Optimus Primal pre-order is listed for $400 and Megatron is listed for $500.

That person says on hold. So I wonder what’s going on? Primal was removed from their website, but Megatron is still there… Entertainment Earth says cancelled, but BBTS still has them up. Is there a licensing conflict and these have just been postponed, or are they not getting manufactured at all?

In the last month or so they've also cancelled the giant Milestone Galvatron statue and the Gallery Diorama Grimlock (made of PVC and thus one-third the price of the statues).

So I was looking at my order for optimus at entertainmentearth.com and the site says he and megatron are canceled. It's still available on the diamond selects website. I can't find any info about this.
Does anybody know more?

Why does this look like it was designed for a younger audience with the extra bright purple and the weird super expressive headsculpt? The price tag certainly doesn't reflect that decision. What a strange product.
Edit: That comment was for Megatron. But now the thread has been updated with Primal who doesn't look bad but has a different style than Megatron. What in the world?
