We have something quite interesting for Transformers Animates fans. Two Transformers Animated shorts, which were considered lost media, have finally been released online for our viewing pleasure.
The two clips were written by Transformers Animated writer Marty Isenberg and animated by Studio 4C and they have been shared via Twitter courtesy of user @KeyanCarlile.

The timeframe for that Starscream short is wonky…
Everyone is in their Earth forms but Starscream was never a part of the group after Meghatron got rebuilt, having been killed instead.

Though I certainly wouldn't say no to any Legacy figures! Bring on Lugnut! Or Blitzwing! Or anyone, really.

I'm an old Geewunner who had dipped into viewing all the different iterations of Transformers. I missed Animated when it came out. Caught up on it recently. After seeing the run of TFPrime.
What I see in TFA was something made with love for the original thing, and truly wanting to have fun with it in a genuine reboot of the universe that wasn't just some version of the canon we've always seen.
Nearly everything since got weirdly dark and ominous and self-important.
I'll say that people here like to be contrarian. It's not enough to say "I found it wanting," but has to be "Worst! Version! Ever!"
There are things I actively despise with what has been done with the Transformers characters in some media. But Prime ain't it.
Animated-inspired versions of Blitzwing, Helicopter Megatron, Lugnut, and Lockdown would all be great. Some of the best Decepticon takes. I heartily endorse.

I think someone said Ratchet, if that's true Lockdown's a must. There's so many good characters with names used lately, Lugnut's due, Everybody's due. Probably the most longshot, a Core Class Teen Sari, think HA figure with a Scooter Jetpack.

I seriously feel Legacy Bulkhead should have been the nod to Animated Bulkhead given Prime Bulkhead turned into an SUV while Animated was like a military APC…which Legacy Bulkhead more closely resembles.
I just wonder who will be made for Legacy….
A new Lugnut would be cool…Sentinel Prime? Jetfire and Jetstorm?

So surreal seeing these over a decade after the end of the show. I really like seeing all the Decepticons together as a team, even though it couldn't really fit anywhere in the show's timeline.

Animated wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it was a phenomenal show with great actors and stories! Frankly, if I am being honest with myself, I think my favorite Blitzwing and Megatron are from this show.
