Via Baidu user 北京无心 we can share for your our first in-hand images of the new Transformers Masterpiece MPG-02 Getsuei.
We have a closer look at the second of the six Masterpiece Trainbots. Getsuei comes packaged in his EF65-1000 Electric Locomotive mode and shows an interesting transformation, a detailed robot mode and several clear plastic pieces and panels similar to the previous Masterpiece Shouki. For those worried about scale we have a group shot next to other Masterpiece figures like Hound, Sunstreaker, and Starscream 2.0. We also have a good set of images of Raiden’s right leg mode.

Thanks for the idea of using Shouki's legs as a temporary waist piece for Raiden. It's nice seeing this all coming together.

The more I mess with suiken and seizan the more I like the hands they're using for the combiner. I kinda hope we see these on other mp's in the future.

It definitely will be able to stand, most of the torso weight is in the arms. We've seen numerous prototypes standing unassisted as well.

Agreed and that actually looks pretty good. I'm assuming the legs aren't stable enough or it's too difficult to attach Kaen to the legs or they would have done something like that. The connection point for Kaen looks very small to me. I'm very worried about Raiden being back heavy because of Shouki's legs and most of Kaen being so far back. Also the Raiden ankles on mine do not seem to bend forward enough to be able to counteract the weight. I'm concerned that Raiden may require a stand to stand up at all which would be a huge pain to anyone that doesn't already own a stand and didn't buy the box set version of Kaen.

Takara designed a really great 5-man combiner.

Not again, please …

Ngl they do look belonged in 2000s CHUG releases lol. Looks way better of course but its just the general aesthetics with all the kibbles, clear plastic, look of the material, visible panels all over, etc. Takara did well to make them work for different collectors.

Raiden bust mode! Wished TT found a better way to use shouki’s legs instead of just folding it into a backpack which isn’t toon. The legs could have been engineered to fill out the waist or torso. With the backpack, it made it a pain in the ass to handle with parts colliding and forcing parts out of place. It’s just so fiddly. Without the backpack its so much better to handle.

Had some free time and thought I try making the optional toy stickers for the somewhat bland chest shield. I used vinyl decals and manually cut the patterns. I think it came out pretty good.

I finally got to lay my hands on MPG Suiken and Seizan and what there's to say not to repeat others
Alt modes are great, transformation is fairly simple and easy, qc is good. Robot modes… are not the best. All this kibble is not the best to say the least and my biggest issue is that backpacks don't compress more despite the fact that they're also partsforming!!! There're these huge gaps between Raiden's fists (I appreciate the fact that they transform and not detach!) and the backpacks that I believe could be filled somehow…
On the other hand, I found the arm bots surprisingly well-articulated – butterfly joints, ab crunch, side movement – which makes them very fun to pose and very photogenic in my opinion! All in all, I'm glad to have them and I can't wait to finish the set! Picture time:
I still refuse to keep them with MPs

From beginning to end. Honestly I cant decide which of the final gun fights is my favorite out of the Leone movies. I think originally the 3 men at the station were supposed to be Van cleef,Eastwood, and somebody else, which would mark the "end" of the man with no name movies
I went with CD Japan for my cloud across @Sinestro00 , they charge you after 2 months so I already ate that a couple of months ago. With the exchange putting something down every month has paid for everything else, especially with these giant windows.

Once Upon a Time in the West is amazing!
Sinestro00
Even Diaclone‽ That’s pretty good…
Nice change of avatar, btw. An unappreciated Leone film, probably due to Bronson, not Eastwood, starring. Also, Fonda in an uncharacteristic (for him) villain role.

Prime of Shadows
But I thought MP was dead and MPG was hot garbage?

Right now you can get an unused Suiken and Seizan, between $90-100, on yahoojp it's a pretty good deal, but I'm kind of at the spot, I dont really want to spend any more money.
, it's just so much stuff coming up in the future and holes I should fill, that spending money outside of paying off POs end up a meh. I'm just glad 85% of my POs are paid off already.

Suiken sold out not even 2 hours after the sale started. Which is wild when you remember Yukikaze lasted a whole week on sale before selling out. (Though that could’ve been a case of people being more cautious with the whole leg breakage debacle)
Pulse’s sale doesn’t end until the 29th, so it’s very much in the realm of possibility that Seizan gets added on cyber Monday. To make another Yukikaze parallel, he wasn’t discounted until halfway through the last sale
MagnusWave931
Only place I saw that had sales on any of them was Hasbro Pulse, but only Suiken and even then, he sold out the first day.

You won't get deals on things that are selling.
