The gallery includes a very informative look at the figure, showcasing its wide range of articulation, face removal feature, and light piping! I do have it in my hands, for what it's worth, and it feels solid but the use of translucent plastic worries me about longevity. It's nicer than the ROTF version, that's for sure.

Yeah. I forgot paint and plastic changes completely when viewed in hand. To everyone saying I need it in hand to even judge how it LOOKS, not feels *just* LOOKS, thanks for trying to invalidate my opinion on its appearance. My thoughts aren't going to magically change.
It's underpainted, for whatever reason is irrelevant because I'm purely judging how good it looks and in my own opinion I think the clear arms look cheap, the grey is ugly and it needs far more orange. I get the budget argument but it has like 1/3 of the mass of say leader jetfire and that was a triple changing figure that still had paint on nearly every surface. They reluctantly made the fallen and screwed it over putting their potential budget on more G1 elsewhere in SS and that's just it. This thing isn't even getting a full international release! I can only get it in hand for the cost of some MPs because my only option is importing. I'm not paying 75+ for something I don't like the look of and I'm not here to be railed about an unfair situation both with how the fallen has been treated and how fans can acquire a no doubt soon to be scalped figure.

Look I like the way the fallen looks and want to get him as soon as possible, but I’m not exactly sure what having him in hand would change if someone doesn’t like the look of it. You know how many times I didn’t like the look of something and was told “it’s better in person”, then was disappointed over and over again when I bought it. If he doesn’t like the plastic color or sculpt, let em.
They were asked why they didn’t like it and answered.

Bro if you haven’t held it in hand you can’t really say that…honestly The Fallen is a good figure and just…seriously be glad we finally have an actual proportionate and accurate looking one to the best of a retail budgets availability. I swear this forum demands retail to be akin to $500 third parties these days damn

I think the finish is really detrimental to the figure. It looks great sculpt wise but the plastic choice and sculpt sucks ass in my opinion.
