Transformers: Kindergarten Series Revealed

A surprising new licensed product for the Transformers franchise just popped up on Weibo.

Known as the Transformers: Kindergarten Series, this Chinese product line imagines our favorite Transformers characters as toddlers.

We will get to see Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Elita-1, Windblade, Hotrod, Shattered Glass Optimus Prime, Beast Wars Megatron, and Nemesis Prime in a kindergarten-like setting.

Figures are 8 to 10 centimeters in height.

This new line is only available as a crowd-funded project.

Based on other figures of that size and heft I'm going to guess $10-15 per blind box.

These are adorable and I\'m happy something like this officially exists, but… WHERE THE HECK IS STARSCREAM?
(Is he not one of the most prominent and popular characters?)

But probably the weirdest, most shocking thing about this is: THEY DIDN'T DO STARSCREAM! What the hell is the point of Transformer Babies if you're not gonna have Baby Megatron getting into fights with Baby Starscream?!

There's always Baby DinoBot if they ever get to making one…

I wonder how hard it is to setup Alipay for this. They have it for international travelers. Then again there might be license restrictions and the shipping might be a lot.

Beast wars megatron looks nice, but it\'s gonna cost A LOT of money to get one mainly because it is a big secret? Optimus looks pretty nice. I wish it wasn\'t a blind box kind of thing, instead you could buy which ever one you wanted. Still very good concept and very cute.

I like them better than Funko Pops, but I don't think I would be comfortable seeing them in my house. :)

While I don't have interest in owning these, I am incredibly curious to see what comes next. Soundwave, any of the Dinobots, more BW characters like Waspinator. I want to see more :lol
