Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. Couldn't remember the type of repair kit it was. Had 'jewelry' in my head, but that wasn't quite right.

Picked up Nightbird and purchased the replacement back piece kit. Can anyone recommend the proper tool kit to make it easier to remove the pin and replace it?

Actually, in regard to my post above, looking back even one page would have revealed I’m not the only one who wants this repaint, haha!
It does confirm the mold would look great in these colors, too!
I kinda think of these colors as “pre-Transformer Arcee,” the same way I think of Diaclone repaints, Microchange repaints, Shackwave and Mechabot-1, etc. It’s not really accurate, since she was designed as a Transformers character from the get-go, but it’s still a color scheme that precedes her finalized look… so that’s who she’d share a shelf with.

While this thread is active, I'll just add that while I skipped Elita and Nightbird, I'd still totally pick up a version of this mold in concept-Arcee colors (like MMC did with their Azalea mold a while back).

Yeah, it's been a pain Thanks for the tip!

I believe she hasn’t been transformed completely. Those torso tabs need to be fully pushed into her waist. It’s a little challenging at first. There’s a bunch of videos out there explaining how to do it.

I'm still waiting for the Dr wu one I pre-ordered
They at least are trying to give it a unique car mode.

I’m in this same exact position but this year with it.
Went ahead and got Elita via StoreZ, as I love Elita and all Elita is a good thing, but it’s also sad as I know it’s likely to be the only Elita I get from NA.

BEST anime i ever seen TF related. Man, i really loved the trio of Arcee, Hot Rod and Starscream. I need more of these 3 in my life, lol, beating up on that Galvatron, whilst paying homage to Daicon 3 and 4

Yeah, Scaramanga needs another repaint with more accurate toon colors. The blue is way too dark and the gray forearms/thighs should be white/off-white. The transparent version has the best colors. Give me that but solid plastic.

Not really Newage related, but Arcee related. This animation is amazing!

For sure lol. I own both NA and MS soundwave. The MS pretty objectively has better sculpt and colors, but NA is my favorite because it feels great and it's just so much fun.

Getting the KO Grimlocks showed me just how much Newage in the finish of their figures. Exact same transformation, and in a couple ways the KO companies made improvements or customized the sculpt. However I still felt like I overpaid on a $30 KO compared to not feeling that way about the $70 original.

You’ve experienced the NewAge “feel!” Almost all of their figures, especially the slightly later ones after they got in their groove, have that polished, balanced in-hand quality. Like you said, they look and feel like refined, delicately-detailed mini-Masterpieces. (Sadly their prices reflect that as well.)
Magic Square might have some figures that look a bit tidier/cleaner or a bit more toon-accurate sometimes, but for me nothing beats the in-hand feel, fit and finish, and satisfying transformations of NewAge.
Good choices, and I think I agree! Both companies produce tiny marvels.

I have both and I prefer the Newage release. Newage is my favorite 3P company. I'm basically all in on the EX (toy) releases. Coming in as my 2nd favorite 3P line are the Dr. Wu micromaster scaled stuff.

I missed Dr Wu Arcee so I picked this one resignated and thinking it was a bit overpriced because how small it was, but now is one of my favourite figures. Its so well done despite being so small that it looks like a Mini Masterpiece. The transformation is not easy but is very fun to do. It´s my first NewAge figure since I was more of a MFT guy, but now I know what company I´m going to keep getting new figures.
