We have with us a couple of official product descriptions* belonging to Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts Weaponizers and Battle Changers gimmick lines.
Battle Changers
- 3-inch figure with classic character-to-weapon transformation that can be used throughout the game system.
- The gun can be used in the new Transformers game system to arm figures.
- Simple transformation in 3-5 steps.
Weaponizer (2-Pack)
- 5″ scale figure with classic transformation.
- Includes 3″ Battler gun to arm characters for battle.
- Simple 3-5 step transformation.
- 8 points of articulation in figure.
It is interesting to note that the product description for Battle Chargers hints at a possible Transformers game. However, the description does not mention it as a video game. Considering the rest of the description, we can speculate that this might be an Attacktix** type of board game system where Hasbro previously featured properties such as Transformers, Star Wars, and Marvel.
Previously known Battle Changer figures for ROTB include Bumblebee, Mirage, Rhinox, and Scourge. Battle Changer figures are priced at $10.99 each.

If it's anything like Attacktix, it should be super fun. I used to love Attacktix, and I'm still sad they cancelled it. One of the few tabletop games that actually had physical attacks instead of rolling dice or cards with stats. I'm surprised on one else has taken the concept and created something similar. Maybe someone has, but I've never heard of anything mainstream.

To me, there seems to be a difference aesthetically between Tigatron and these.
Tigatron appears to be more complex in design detail and transformation more akin to arms microns as these seem very basic.
TF Hot Rod
Yeah these are probably gonna be like this.
Vector Oracle
Tigatron is basically a Targetmaster, so the others are probably like him.

Any idea of release date?
THE-TRANSFORMER
Not sure how it works, whether sold or leased, however the Attactix system is being used by Restoration Games for their Unmatched series.
So I don't think Hasbro can just dip there toe back into that game system

It was not ok that there was not one Rise of the Beast anything at comic con. I Hope this Hasbro thing at the end of September is All Rise of the Beast. The waiting is getting real old real fast.
Cloudraker
Yeah I also wanted these to be more like Targetmasters.
Barbarossa Prime
Man that old school Transformers logo is giving me all the feels
DarkAxalonSyde
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. The use of the word "system" makes me think this is a mistranslation of "play pattern".

Sounds like Weaponizers aren't traditional WFC Weaponizers :'(
Amazon Prime
Finally more ROTB toys
TF Hot Rod
That’s what I’m wondering as well, the fall season I’d assume?
Pravus Prime
It could also be a companion app, like RID 15 had for a while that was actually not bad until it transitioned into a different kind of game after an update (when the deployers launched), then an update after that got flagged by my anti-virus as being potentially mal-ware and I deleted it.
Novaburnhilde
I wonder how long it'll be before some of these show up on shelves.
Fc203
I wonder if itll be a like the star wars Galactic Battle game where its a bonus thing you could do with your toys.

Loved those, I had Barricade, Mirage and the launcher Bumblebee. The online game was pretty cool for it's time, I remember I used the character creator as well

The first thing that popped into my head with the Battle Chargers description was was Bot Shots, if anyone remembers those, which had a rock paper scissors type of game built into the gimmick.

Yep, Optimus Primal and Tigatron are definitely from the Weaponizer two-pack assortment.
Battle Changers sound interesting. I wonder if Mirage will just be a miniature version of his car mode (unlicensed and stylised) converting into a weapon. Now THAT will be cool!
octobotimus
Yeah definitely not a reference to a video game.
