Courtesy of TFW2005 member cynw32618 we can share for your our first in-hand images of the recently released Transformers Legacy Velocitron Deluxe Cosmos.
In fact, Cosmos is being shipped in the UK via Smyths Toys together with the rest of the Transformer Velocitron Speedia 500 figures (Walmart exclusives in the US). Good luck for our fellow UK collectors and now we have a clear look at this completely new mold of the green and yellow Autobot. As we can see from the images, Cosmos got a pretty detailed UFO mode with a very interesting transformation sequence and a highly poseable robot mode while keeping the G1 cartoon proportions. We also have several shots next to other figure including the previous Generations/Titans Return Cosmos mold.

As Cosmos was not made available for premium yesterday for Hasbro’s 1027 premium Event… is it all but certain now that no more will be made available in the States?

Thanks to a good friend of mine, I just received the best gift any Transformers fan could ask for.

A Transformers action figure that I was not able to find on my own.

How much would postal costs be to ship a Cosmos to the US?
Sunbow Prime
What's your offer delivered in USD?

Depends where you are. I picked up a spare Cosmos from Smyths, but the cost of sending overseas has to be worth it. Maybe if you had a Timelines Kick-Over to trade, I'm all ears…..

Now the question is will Walmart get the solid cases or not.
oisinrc
I can, but I'd expect you to cover postal costs – pm me if no one else gets you sorted

So as I mentioned before, it looks like everyone will in fact be getting a chance to own Cosmos. Hasbro seems to be shipping deluxe boxes with only Cosmos in it. Please do not support scalpers if you can help it (I know there are those rare occasions where you have no choice).
Velocitron Cosmos is Being Shipped in Solid Cases to Retailers + Video Review

Thinking back to that brief period where (somehow) Walmart had cases of CW W1 with the pack-in comic. Or how a few had solid cases of Wingfinger.

Alas, they’re not out yet! Because in the UK figures ship as whole cases of the same character, this last year or two Waves have been showing up 1 or 2 figures at a time.
The only 3 guys shipped so far for Velocitron in the UK is Override, Cosmos & Road Hauler – The rest are scheduled to ship this next week or so from Pulse. It’s ironic as I was basically the first person outside of Hasbro to get Cosmos, when I’m more excited about Road Rocket & Clampdown to go with my Deep Cover figure!

Absolutely gorgeous.
I do say its weird theres not been any pics of the other figures though. Like i get that cosmos and override are the Big Shows but I'd honestly likt to see more of burnout and blurr etc.

So, can anyone with access to a Smyths pick a homie up a Cosmos?
oisinrc
Excellent thanks – for everything man
Jtprime17
They have all the wave 1 and 2 figures listed in their system. So they should be getting them all eventually.
oisinrc
Sorry to annoy you with questions, but will this (Cosmos, Override, Hauler) be all Smyths will be getting in? No Scourge or the other deluxes?

That Voyager price point got us pinned wheels. Fancy!

Oh, go on then..

Hmm. Initial thoughts on this one are that this is a lovely Deluxe figure elevated to a Voyager pricepoint because of the exclusivity of the Velocitron line and maaaybe because she's made of sterner stuff.
Vehicle mode is kinda weird and kinda awesome, as it should be. Pinned wheels too.

On those materials, her plastic is essentially identical to another smaller Voyager, SS86 Hot Rod. It's a glossy, solid affair with none of the softer flexible type to be found on her. It's also used in thicker slabs than on him as well. No gaps or waffling of note. The result is a toy that just feels a cut above many of her peers.
Where she differs is that engineering wise, Hot Rod is leaps and bounds superior and many Deluxes have a better range of motion. I can't lie though, it is a clever and enjoyable transformation. She's also slathered in paint, which aids her aesthetics massively.
Robot mode is bang on the money, colours are gorgeous and enhance a strong, dynamic looking sculpt. Articulation is standard for the day, although ankle tilt is limited (she really needed a forward toe tilt as well), waist is heavily compromised by the backpack and head movement essentially limited to a swivel. I've managed to get her looking up but it feels like I'm playing with fire.

Hmm indeed. I like her a lot. A great feeling, wonderful looking figure. But she's definitely limited in range of movement and can't honestly say that she justifies her pricepoint. Maybe that's a lack of attachment to the character on my part, maybe it's because I love well articulated Transformers or maybe it's because they're continuing to take the piss with pricing.
Regardless, it's fantastic seeing Cybertron get some more love.

Do you know if solid cases of Cosmos are going to the US?
