For Drift yeah I think a new mold would be best, but I would take this mold as Armada Blurr.

Pointblank's car mode looks really cool, although those hips still really bother me, and seeing the proportions of the car, I think if he's going to make a good UT Blurr, he'd need to be a full-on reshell, not just a minor remold. The car mode would need to be totally changed as well as the alternate torso transformation and hopefully more normal-looking hips. I wouldn't mind this car mode for Drift though, as long as he could have accurately transforming shoulders, a modded cockpit for a more accurate chest in robot mode, and again, fixed hips, but I'm guessing a new mold or shared engineering with an RID Prowl (similar shoulders and same hip skirts) would be more likely at this point.
I thought the original toy had awful proportions, but the overall design as interpreted in other media and by later toys is definitely cool.

I'm loving the fact that all the deluxe Stunticons are coming with two weapons so they can try to replicate the old school back mounted guns aesthetic

Pointblank and Dead End look great! As expected, Dead End has a pretty good car mode like the rest of the Stunticons revealed so far. Pointblank has a great altmode too, very Cyberpunk 2077-ish. The Targetmaster doesn't look bad from what I can (try to) see here.
TF Hot Rod
I don’t care about Pointblank at all really but his alt mode is fantastic looking. Idk if they aren’t realistic, Cybertronian cars or cars like this are cool.

No actualy, it allowed them to make random soap box shaped cars and to pretend robots doing yoga counted as jets.
Gepard
Pointblank's alt mode looks nice as far as design goes but it seems pretty devoid of paint.

And it was sick!
Q Prime
And? It just lets them be more creative.

Where my crankcase picture

In the late 80s they just slapped "Cybertronian" on whatever weird ass alt modes they were giving characters
JazzAlert13
Worse? Pointblank has one of the best car modes in the history of transformers.
TF Hot Rod
He looks really good, did a good job on him.
Foster
Loving the car modes of Dead End and Pointblank. Pointblank especially is sharp!
BigRed
Shocked they somehow managed to make Pointblank's alt mode look worse
linkinparkirony
Dead End looks great
Pointblank looks alright, Peacemaker is exactly what i expected
TF Hot Rod
No idea and not suprising since wave 3 of SS this year got revealed by Takara before Hasbro
Chareos
Like that Pointblank alt mode
Dead End's legs look wonky, but he'll be combined in Menasor, so no biggie
Robogeek28
I hate that Targetmaster.
Thank goodness I have a ton of the Battlemasters.
