Third party company Newage have updated their Weibo account with foud new color variants of their H44 Ymir (Legends scale Grimlock).
We have the following new redecos of the Dinobot Leader for the Legends class scale:
- H44B Clober – Shattered glass deco. It comes with flaming sword/fire effect, gun, fish and a pair of extra hands.
- H44V Ymir – G2 version (blue). It comes with sword, gun and a pair of extra hands.
- H44C Ymir – Marvel comics deco. It comes with with sword, gun and a pair of extra hands.
- H44T Ymir – Clear version. It comes with flaming sword/fire effect, gun, fish and a pair of extra hands.

It's not too uncommon for NA to make allowances for paint thickness, resulting in bare plastic versions being a little looser. The toes and neck on my Sludge are loose, but not so loose that they don't hold a pose, they just move really easily if you start handling them.

Sounds like ours are the same then. I know one of my Sludges had looser toes, but not this loose. The chrome ones were tight because of the extra layer. So might be painted/chromed vs bare plastic.

Yeah, I definitely have the toe issue but my neck is okay (ish).

@Ryan F how are the tolerances on your Lucky Draws? My Sludge's neck is pretty loose and the toes won't stay in robot mode at all.

The blue looks great, like no toys I’ve ever seen before. Not sure how long these will last (clear plus sparkles plus swirls is not a plastic recipe for long-term durability), but for now at least I can enjoy them!

RTB is in Hong Kong, so they can't take advantage of the ridiculously cheap shipping that most Chinese sellers do, but it will also usually arrive a lot faster.

I emailed ShowZ about it to see if they had updates and they responded back:
"Sorry but we dont have any updates, as far as we know, newage will not reissue this product this year."
I'm just trying multiple options just in case.

And given that transparent plastic could be more delicate than opaque plastic, you should of course buy two, so you don't need to transform it.

It's replicating the hologram effect used in the original cartoon. That blue shimmery look that they'd often use as the hologram was created.
