G.B. Blackrock
Arguably less baffling, but I'm miffed they ignored the heat sticker, myself.
Predakwon
I'd buy an Injector. He'd be repurposed as Latolata/Rartorata are whatever his Romanized name is (what a pain looking for that version on Ebay).
Oniconvoy
Because it’s just been released and hasn’t hit saturation at retail. Scalpers gonna scalp.
And given the missing legs on the reissue, you’re definitely better off buying an original if you plan to open it.
Sparticus Prime
Why is this reissue going for soo much?! $60-70 online is insane, is for the memes or is it honestly a good figure? I see the originals being sole for $10-15?
Jetbolt
It has to be a production choice for some reason. I have the original and all the insect legs are the same piece. So I’m legitimately baffled why they chose to not add the other two.
Girl Pants
Thanks, but

sigh….

Injector also has no technical faults. He's still quite posable and has a pretty decent transformation on top of quite good colours and paint work. He can still do a lot in both modes.
Zook
It took me almost 20 years to appreciate Injector. I thought it was the stupidest thing when I saw it in stores. Retrax is still awful though. At least Injector has a wacky charm to him.
SPLIT LIP
I’m sorry you feel that way.

Wait what the fuck since when is Injector not good?
Noctorro has the hands thing and weird wing gimmick but Injector is a national treasure with Nicholas Cage.
Dinobot Nuva
Mine came this week too and it's also missing the middle set of legs, the original leaked samples also have this issue, so wondering if it's a production or mold issue?
Beastwarsfan95
I guess I'm in the minority for not liking Retrax. *Shrug*
He can go sit in the corner with Injector and Noctorro.

Retrax came in today! Such a fun and goofy little man!

However, I discovered something that can only be described as disgraceful.

Do you see it? My goofy little guy is MISSING A PAIR OF LEGS! THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS TO HAPPEN IN ANY REALITY! HASBRO HAS OFFICIALLY GONE DOWN THE HOLE! MY SILLY LITTLE DUDE HASN'T GOTTEN A TOY SINCE THE 90s, AND THIS IS HOW IT'S HANDLED! UNACCEPTABLE!

also he turns into a ball
Vicegrip
I happen to like Retrax unironically. I think he is a lot of fun. I own the Powerhug deco, but I prefer Retrax's colors. Despite the limited articulation due to his awesome gimmick, he can actually pull off some great poses in robot mode. I, for one, cannot wait to get this guy and unironically embrace my inner child.

I almost guarantee it's a simple matter of what moulds they have still ready to use. Cheetor/Tigatron and Rattrap had to be remade, and they probably picked K9 and Retrax because they didn't require any repair or reconstruction.

Retrax was such an odd choice, I would have done Dinobot, Rhinox or either of the spiders. Why reissue one of the worst BW figures ever*?
*I know people like him "ironically" and for the Memes. But a bad transformer is a bad transformer)
fartsniffer42
My Retrax is on the way! Very exciting! I love how goofy he is!

If Retrax is selling out, that's amazing! Keep these BW reissues coming!
SPLIT LIP
I can’t tell if this is an acronym or you slammed the keyboard in anger that there’s no Retraxes left.
