Comic-Con begins in just two weeks and by annual tradition, we have your first look at the daily program schedule. Thursday’s schedule includes the following Transformers-related panels:
Thursday, July 21 • 1:00pm – 2:00pm, Room 29AB
Hasbro Transformers Product Reveal: The Transformers product team, Ben (Hasbro marketing) and Evan (Hasbro design), take attendees through some all-new Transformers: Legacy toy reveals. They will also discuss all things Transformers and pop culture and answer whatever questions fans have for the team. So, get ready for a panel that’s . . . More Than Meets the Eye.
Thursday, July 21 • 6:00pm – 7:00pm, Room 9
Animation Story Editors: What Do They Do? Animated TV series pretty much all have story editors. What do they do? Why do they do it? Their duties can range from being the head writer and supervising all of the scripts to sitting in on voice record sessions, approving story boards, and more. What skills do you need? How do you become one? And how do you, as a writer, get story editors to be aware of you and want to hire you to write on their shows. Craig Miller (Pocket Dragon Adventures, Majid) hosts Nicole Dubuc (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Transformers: Rescue Bots), Bob Skir (Extreme Ghostbusters, Transformers: Beast Machines), Patrick Reiger (Unikitty!, Batwheels), Holly Huckins (Rugrats, Hampsters of Hamsterdale), and Chris “Doc” Wyatt ( Marvel’s Spider-Man, Transformers Botbots).
What are your burning questions for these panels? Stay tuned for more Transformers-related Comic-Con updates as the Friday, Saturday and Sunday program schedules are released in the next three days and join the discussion on the 2005 boards!

This series is looking pretty good. Might get the Twitch figure

Still not a fan of Elita's head but a lot of these designs look pretty cool, especially Megatron (my first real experience with Transformers shows was Animated reruns, so I'm always in for helicopter Megatron). Not sure if I want him at Deluxe size but I'd definitely get a Voyager. And Twitch looks pretty cool, will probably get her

It does, I’m more excited about the Earthspark stuff than Legacy wave 3 and I’m shocked to say that.

Well today was a great day for panels. Honestly the only disappointing thing to me about SDCC is the Legacy panel yesterday. Having seen what the other Hasbro brands and Earthspark brought to the table, yesterday’s panel really seems like an afterthought. Would’ve been better to just announce the livestream with the full reveals for mid-August and not have held a panel in my opinion.
Tangent aside, looking forward to Earthspark. Liking the designs more than I thought I would. Megatron looks especially great. Looking forward to what else they have in store for the series. Swindle being present gives me a slight hope that the combaticon team may make an appearance.

Simmons shouting "ISHSHSHGDOBAHSHGHCGHJSOOSGAHSGD. SHTOOP!" will never not be funny.

I just learned that we are getting both warriors and deluxes so yeah I 100% want a deluxe.

I’d want a Deluxe, I really like this design, but there is that Legacy repack so…

Twitch actually has a a really good looking toy there. I'm impressed, didn't think she would based off that old original trailer and her alt mode.
Voice cast for this definitely seems pretty good too.

Current thoughts:
-Really digging the design for Megs here, when figures come out I'm totally buying one of him
-Main human girl kinda looks weird, I think it's the eyes, they're a bit too big from what I've seen
-Guess Mandroid's gonna be the human villain for this series, interesting, don't think we've gotten one of those since RB
-Swindle looks like he's based off his CW body, you can even kinda see his combiner peg
-New guy kinda gives me Cybertron Hardtop vibes because of the color scheme, wonder if he's a pre-existing character or a brand new one enterally
-Toys like fine, sort of a step-up from Cyberverse's offerings, might pick up a few of them depending on how they turn out
-"Optimus always sees the bright side, even when there isn't one" that line gave me a chuckle, that's honestly how I feel Optimus should be written, just a guy with a ungodly sense of optimism that's both his greatest strength and weakness
So yeah, overall this looks promising, can't wait to see more

Hope we get a Warrior figure.

I was hoping for something bigger, but this works too.

So far, Twitch is looking to be the best Deluxe figure and we can likely expect one for Thrash too. Also, can we get a Voyager/Leader Earthspark Megatron in the Legacy toyline in the future?

Need Prime to shout "HOLD DUTCH! HOLD!" otherwise it's a missed opportunity

well thats true but, how many "shows" banking on any kind of nostalgia, (given how many g1 inspired designs were revealed today) have been good in the last couple of years? and dont say the mandalorian, is not that good, (ok at leats is not trash i guess)
ProfessionalIcee
Optimus looks okay, maybe some more paint would have helped, but Bee is very nice.
Even little Mandroid looks well put together.
