Via Twitter user @TheGDPod we have images of a new Transformers Universal Studios Exclusive Deluxe Bumblebee.
Actually, this figure just seems to be a re-release of the Dark Of The Moon Mech Tech Deluxe Bumblebee mold with no discernible differences but a new packaging featuring Universal Studios logos. The back of the box shows the Revenge Of The Fallen and General Motors logos, a GM QR code a short bio:
“Bumblebee has been caught in ambushes before , but never one like this. The DECEPTICONS are determined to stop EVAC, no matter the cost. It’s up to BUMBLEBEE to see that his friend and the precious cargo he carries reaches his destination intact.”

Why are people this upset?
If you have it already? Money saved.
If you don’t like it? Money saved.
If you want it? Here’s your opportunity for something that’s not price gouged by some creep on eBay.
Who loses here? It’s Bumblebee. There is literally a new DOTM figure coming. This is a toy that’s meant to be sold to children in an amusement park and not adult collectors. I can see SS Bumblebee ending in tears for many parents of kids who just wanted a Bumblebee figure. And it’s a fun one. If I was 8, I would be all over that figure. It’s a comfortable level of engineering to give an 8 year old a fun challenge
Hell, some of the SS figures frustrate ME

I still need the Universal Studios Megatron, so hopefully this doesn\'t limit selection ;(
But this is honestly really cool, granted yeah it\'s pretty much just a re-release of the 2011 Bee but I like it as sort of a renescance thing

Yeeaahhh, not quite.

It's like saying Classics and ER Prime are the same figure because they're visually alike and have similar steps.

This is all sorts of incorrect. And how are you gonna ignore the size difference? Because that alone proves you wrong?
The transformations are similar, but that is a combination of both the similar design and using engineering that was already working at the time. Plus, most movie Bumblebee figures share something in common with other figures in terms of transformation. Its pretty fascinating to see the evolution of that character in toy form through the transformation. That leg transformation was used on pretty much everything from the concept Camaro Deluxe from 2007 through to the High Octane Deluxe in 2014. Is High Octane Bumblebee the same as Battle blades because of a similar transformation?
The answer is no, because it's an entirely new mold. To go back to what started this, the DOTM Deluxe is smaller, doesn't have the gimmicks along with some transformation differences, and turns into a different Camaro with the robot mode reflecting those differences as well. Legitimately not remotely the same toy despite a similar transformation.

Guys this is a theme park exclusive, not a mass rerelease. It\'s fine if they use an old mold esp since it\'s not even a bad one and they will over charge cause it\'s gd universal studios not target.

Do you actually own both toys? Because I do, and they are not the same. The transformations aren't the same, and the DOTM version lacks all the gimmicks of the HFTD version. They're the same toy the same way FE Prime Optimus is the same as his PRID Voyager.
Hell, even having the same transformation does not make two toys the same. Just look at BWII Starscream and Energon Starscream.

Going by that logic then these two are the same figure:

Calm the hell down, it’s just a theme park exclusive.

yeah just completely ignore that 1:1 transformation……bruh. They are the same. I couldn't care less about the size difference. The transformation is the exact same except for the mid section. What this tells me is they literally shrunk him down and charged more.
SPLIT LIP
You could say the same about literally every TF toy.

We have seen that in a long time

\"Yeah I hate when they re-release figures that have no negative impact on my or anyone else\'s life. \"
That\'s an understatement. It\'s a waste of money, a waste of time, and bad for the environment. Not exactly harmless to them or anyone else.
