Magic Square Toys MSB-45 Ryu (Legends Scale Ratchet) Color Prototype

Third party company Magic Square Toys have shared, via their Weibo account, images of the color prototype of their MSB-45 Ryu (Legends Scale Ratchet).

The Legends scale market is sure very competitive, and Magic Square is taking another classic G1 character into a pretty small scale: G1 Ratchet. This is a redeco with a retool of MSB-44 Ken/Legends scale Ironhide featuring a new head in robot mode and a light siren in alt mode. It shows a great cartoon-accurate design and proportions, showing an impressive range of poseability for its size and packed with several G1 cartoon accessories. We are sure your optics will be really pleased with the promotional images.

I've started actually waiting until I hit the >$150 mark to get the free shipping on my stack, so I'm only getting both these guys now:

They both have a multitude of little things to switch out on them. Haven't gotten around to transforming them though.

Have they released the name of the black Ironhide yet? Akuma? Gouki? Violent Ken?

If they do a repaint of the Ratchet they should call it "Hot Ryu".

I also just got these guys today and am loving them. My only critiques so far are that I wish Ratchet's gear was done in grey like Ironhide's was. The white is very off-putting and cheap feeling. It would have also been nice to have one of them dual wield the pistols in the same color.

Is that a smirking face on the SG Ironhide photo above? When I was playing with Ironhide this afternoon, I was thinking I wish he had a smirking face, almost like Ratchet's.

Sorry for the double post, but looking over some of the other Ironhide pics people have posted, it looks like his default face looks like a smirk depending on the angle its looked at and I'm wrong about the SG recolor face.

So my Ryu came in today. Finally after messing with him I can say I'm 95% satisfied. He has an extremely loose thigh joint but I overall I'm impressed. Looks like black ironhide is next
