New third party company MetaGate have shared, via their Weibo account, images of the color prototype of their first project: Haiku (Age Of Extinction Triple Changer Drift).
This is an ambitious take on a functional Age Of Extinction triple-changer Drift. As we can see from the images robot mode is pretty movie-accurate and we have a solid Bugatti Veyron-inspired car mode with a bit messy helicopter mode. According to some replies on Weibo, more details and paint apps will be added to the final product which is expected to be ready to ship by September this year.
See the images after the break and then share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

the white deco is from metagate, one of their OCs. I thought it was bugati mold only but idkfs
Ellamin
Is there a white deco of this guy or is the white oni mask deco I found a KO of this? The deco.looks cool but I've only heard that this figure is bad because it can make the "helicopter" from the movie.

Lol. I use that weird form of phone typing where I glide my finger across the keyboard and it interprets from where I change directions. Does lead to some annoying typos, but it works well enough since I write school essays on my phone regularly.

Wait how dyk

Thing is, MetaGate themselves sold their designs to those KO companies. It doesn't seem like a smart business move to print and sell an entire batch of figures at the same time as 2 KO companies you've sold your designs to.

Some companies do, uts nero had a huge sale when the bmb ko came out. It might not also be a thing with the ko. They clearanced the tlk ver, bludgeon ver and the oc ver. The KO is of the aoe ver, which is still full price. Im sure some people bought redxia because they were in the market for the cheaper ko, but i think they liquidated their selection because either the character has a redo coming out or just isnt selling fast enough to be worth the storage space

I think more companies should follow in Metagate's footsteps and discount their products when a KO comes around. Not necessarily as much as MG did with the repaints, but I think it would convince some people to get the original. For me it's always the price stopping me from getting an original figure.

And almost most of them uses original Metagate picture
1:1 KO, Comes in a brown box, no instruction. Looks like it's the same case like Lockdown KO.

Tbh I have no idea. Some baidu users guess Metagate releases this cheaper version to counter the CE ko, but they have no proof. And I'm not sure if the quality of "J01" is like the original figure or not, since it might be normal KO quality.

Is this another ko?
