Illustrator and designer Winston Chan updates our September solicitations coverage with more details about his featured Shattered Glass II issue #2 RI cover:
Thanks for all the love and positive response to this cover. I cannot express how much your support spurs me on to keep working at my craft. Here’s a look at it without the logo dressing, as well as the line-art.
Sound off on the 2005 boards!
Finally! An issue dedicated to everyone’s (Blaster’s) favorite Autobot: Blaster! And he’s doing what he does best: being a star…kind of. Slicer recruits Blaster to infiltrate Decepticon Radio, but Blaster will have to stop being the star of his own one-bot show in order to get back in the good graces of the Autobots.

Winston Chan's art is always awesome!

Winston Chan is my favourite IDW artist they currently have working on modern Transformers books.

I would think that the deal just means that they can't make any new books, not reprint old ones. And even if I'm wrong, I'm sure that whatever company takes the reins will be given the reins to make those collections. Not printing them at all seems foolish on Hasbro's part.
Didn't Dreamwave stuff get printed long after the company closed?

I do hope so, especially as it would only take 3 more to finish it out.

I am hoping they are able to continue printing the hardback collections. I missed the beginning few years of IDW and bought them to catch up, but I decided still to not buy the individual issues and see it out with the collections. Having got as far as almost half way through Phase 3 (volume 4 at least must come out before the end of the year) I would hate to miss out on the final (I reckon) 37-39 issues/2 volumes.

"Is there anything Arcee can’t do?" She seemed unable to ask if it was ok before lunging forward and shoving her tongue down Aileron's throat.

Interesting to note Soundwave has detailing based off the Netflix mold, but Laserbeak is the Siege version?
Go-Faster-Wings
Is IDW still going to be able to do the hardcover collections? It seems like they would need a few more to finish out the first IDW run. Granted, I've got no stake in it, I've never bought a single one, but having every issue they've done in one collection would be seriously impressive and I could only imagine the frustration of someone whos been collecting them from the beginning…

" Is there anything Arcee can’t do? " – LOOOL. Well that started off well for a collection of IDW's biggest Mary Sue's greatest moments.
" Watch your back! This duplicitous Decepticon air commander’s coming for the throne! " – should have added 'And once he gets it, he will do nothing with his power and just meander around talking to ghosts and waste opportunities. Seriously, Barber, you could have done shakespearian royal dramas with a Starscream who sees enemies everywhere because he thinks people will betray him the same way he betrayed Megatron, but instead, he hires Rattrap, a guy you couldn't trust as far as you could throw him, and spends most of his time talking to a ghost of someone whom he never even knew that well or liked.
"It’s time for a great big adventure with the coolest little bot around! " – Is he a ghosts, isn't he? Not even our writers know!
Also, really, Plight of the Bumblebee, one of the worst G1 Marvel comics, got chosen for this?
Yeah, the only one on this list I am interested in. I wonder, will Hasbro keep making those without IDW's involvement? I mean the SG toyline like will continue beyond September… Slicer only comes out in 2023.

Looking forward to Shattered Glass.

SHIELD Agent 47
This is my first time starting a thread for a month's designated IDW comics. I think I have dated this thread title correctly?
