Once again Hasbro designer Mark “Markclonus” Maher, via his Instagram account, have treated us with in-hand images of another recently revealed figures. This time he’s showing us a sample of the new Transformers Shattered Glass Slicer & Exo-Suit toys. As usual, Mark has also shared some comments about the development of these figures as well as very interesting trivia and data. Read all about it below:
“Shattered glass Slicer and his Weaponizer Exosuit should find a spot in your collection, if you haven’t already, go preorder this cool team up to fill out your heroic decepticon army!
But wait, he is a good guy…bad guy…no…another reason to purchase this lovely bot an get a copy of IDW’s new comic issue from the Shattered Glass series.
As some may know, Im into the old TF toyline action masters, so when the opportunity came to do a SG version of our beloved Wheeljack, I had to take a look back at the fabulous Botcon rendition that I believe @artguy101 had a hand in making.
I really was on board with what they did but I really wanted to pay homage to how awesome transformers with vehicles or “exosuits” were, especially coming off of the great success of weaponizer’s in Siege, I felt there needed to be a marriage here.
You will also see some concept art where I used alot of inspiration from energon downshifts weaponry, as that was the og mold for the botcon toy.
Yuki san at TT made it really come to life by adding in the articulation aspect to the weapons.
You can also see how I first thought a custom built mech suit from Cog would of been the move but no no, a 6wd off road weaponizer vehicle won me over. Especially because I wanted my Black Zarak to sport a Transformable spear.
More soon my fellow cybertronians!! Enjoy!”

Found an exo-suit combination that I’m most pleased with, using G1 as a rough model and taking liberties with the gun placements because I couldn’t find a way to make hip guns look good

My personal headcanon is that SG Wheeljack invented a dimensional travel device and went to a G1 universe and changed his name to Slicer. So they're the same guy as far as I'm concerned.
Whichever you want. As he is, completely unaltered, he's G1 Slicer the Action Master Decepticon. Going by the comics, he's SG Wheeljack, who changed his name at some point before the series began, who's still an Autobot, so some people have complained about him having the wrong badge.
However you think of him is up to you, really. Any errors is a stick away from correction. Personally I'm half tempted to slap a Merc symbol on him.
the answer i didn't need DX
im confused here is he meant to be a deception or autobot ? or sg wheeljack ?

These guys are gonna make me buy this, aren't they. Those monsters!
Toyhax, do deliver us a set that gives us the option to cover that Con insignia.
I really like this guy but just like Delta Magnus he won't be part of SG.
… I think I'll have Slicer serv. under Black Convoy (Scourge), while Exo will go with Black Zarak. I just wish that we didn't have to wait until next year for this set.
This is SG Wheeljack, who disguised himself in both SG universes as Slicer because they share the same color scheme. The exo-suit is the heroic Decepticon Roritchi, who I’m presuming is unaware of “Slicer’s” true allegiance.
He's a evil Autobot in disguise. A literal robot in disguise XD
Is he a heroic decepticon or an evil one? It says SG but he looks quite evil
LOVE IT! LETS GOO!
So this toy is doing double duty as both a Decepticon named Slicer and the evil Autobot Wheeljack?
I'm probably still going to get him, but wow, is that confusing.
