Following our previous story about the Transformers 2007 Live-Action Movie Coming Back is coming back to theaters for its 15th anniversary, now we can update it with the first official poster and some additional details.
This event is organized by Fathom Events (which also brought the Transforrmers 1986 movie back to theaters in 2021) and they have updated their website with an image of the official poster and confirmation of 2 screening dates on July 10th and 14th. Tickets are on sale now via Fathom events website and you can also find a complete list of all theater locations here.
You wouldn’t believe it’s been 15 years after the premiere of the very first live-action movie, so it’s a good chance to watch it again on a big screen with some friends. Click on the discussion link below and share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

The official transformers instagram account only posted a story nothing else.

I mean hasbro put out ads on their accounts, fathom events just rarely get any media coverage in general. Nature of the beast unfortunately

I posted in social media i was watching it and had 10 people asking / interested… They really should have gave some more promotion.
i know bayformers to fans on here is controversial, but the general public loves this movie.

I went to see it today and man, getting my ears blasted by the sounds of the transformations and explosions is just peak cinema.

I’m bummed that I couldn’t go on Sunday or tonight, but I’d have to drive 3 hours to watch it in a smaller theater, when I could watch it at home in 4K with Dolby Atmos. Now if it was in IMAX or Dolby Cinema, I would’ve tried.

I went to see it with my Stepdad on July 10th, it was first time we seen a movie together when it was just us and not the whole family of five. We had a great time. It was my first time seeing it in theatres, I didn't see until Summer 2008 when my friend and neighbor Alex brought over the DVD. As this one and The Last Knight were the only films in the six-film live action franchise I didn't get to see in theatres.

Hmmm…. Looks like Hasbro had the same idea you did.

Arrival to Earth
Obviously I agree with you. The score and the visuals make it an amazing scene. You could rewatch it over and over just to see each one of the Autobots transforming.
Unfortunately, I arrived a couple of minutes late on Sunday. Was this the behind the scenes clip they showed?

Good to hear the quality of the screening. I have heard mixed things about Fathom Events before. I have the only 2 reserved seats for the 7pm show in my town for Thursday. I really hope they don't cancel it because of low attendance or something.

Honestly, I should have, when I saw The Batman, I had the Lego Mario 64 Question Block set with me, and they let me in with THAT (I had a Barnes and Noble gift card, used wisely), the box is HUGE. I should go back with a Lego set again, and bring a forehead light and just start building it in the theater.
*Harried usher comes rushing in, see's me, and gasps* "Oh, thank Primus! You're just building a Lego set, you might have had a BAG!"
Banannixx
You should've taken him out of the box and just eaten him right then and there, purely to establish complete and utter dominance.

No I had asked that. It was weird. It’s the theater by my work. I’ve seen around 140 movies there in 8 years (I collect stubs) saw The Batman, No Way Home, MoM, several Ghiblifest movies there with a backpack since The Circumstances let them open up again, but I even offered to crack the tape and show them what was in the box and it was a hard no. Not too upset, I wouldn’t have grabbed Sludge if I hadn’t gone there to try to see the movie
influence82
I don't mean to sound stupid, but if you disposed of the bag and held sludge in your arms would the theater allow you in? Was the bag the problem, not the toy?
Obnimaz
Who's car? The Target and the movie theater are both in the same mall, it's weird to have an in-mall theater that disallows in-mall shopping bags or items, I wasn't even allowed to bring him in by himself
John TheDestroyer
Why not just leave Sludge in the car?

Just saw it today (yesterday? It's 1:00am here now).
Extra content was some Behind The Scenes stuff that you could probably find on the Special Edition. No IMAX cut unfortunately.
I didn't see all of it, but when my posse arrived, they were talking about how they did the effects of Scorponok bursting out of the sand and how they used the charges set underneath to help mask and graft the cgi into the scene.
For the record, this has been both a childhood dream and bucket list item fulfilled for me.
This is a true "You must experience this in a theater" film.
Still holds up and is a lot better than the stuff they're pumping out now.
Hard to believe that this quintessential Summer Blockbuster can now be seen as "quaint" by today's standards.
I might be bashing on MCU and adjacent stuff for relying too much on green screen, but there's really something special about the way ILM did the first film.
"CGI might look real, but practical effects feel real."
Say what you will about Bay, but damn if he didn't commit. Every explosion was real, especially the bus, and every car that got flipped was really flipped.

I live in the UK, and I've been here in New York since last Thursday, but unfortunately I leave on Wednesday night

They'll have it back in 5 years for its 20th anniversary, I'm sure
