Via the official Takara Tomy Twitter we have our first official look at the Transformers Masterpiece MPG Raiden’s Combiner Raiden torso mode.
The images show a close up of Raiden’s head included with Masterpiece Trainbot Yukikaze which is a separate piece similar to the original G1 toy. We have a closer at Raiden’s body (formed by Masterpiece Trainbot Shouki) which looks very bulky and compact.

Actually same. It was over 48 hours ago I sent them an email asking about it. Still no response.

I’ve only gone from train to robot and back on the four I have, and none of them were fun to me. Part of it was the instructions being terrible.. maybe now that I know what I’m getting into, it won’t be so bad the next time.

Agreed. I genuinely love transforming Shouki, Getsuei, and Suiken (so I guess seizan too but I don't have him yet.) The only one I don't love is Yukikaze but even he's not awful. Shouki and Getsuei especially though, they are super, super fun.

Transforming them is fun IMO, very fun, and clever.
Combining them is not bad per see, is just the fact that it is so gd fiddly.
Prowl2000
Once I hear something I will post in this thread.
KylerWilmoth
Thanks for telling me! I was about to do that myself
Thundershot
I only have four of them so far (1-3, 6) and they’re a pain to transform as it is… I’m dreading combining them. Not even sure if I will
Prowl2000
I sent them an email two days ago asking about this and I have not heard anything 🙁

Combining Raiden…..is not very fun.
I don't think I've ever handled such a fiddly combiner. I get that it is an all-in-one, but man it is so hard to do anything other than a brick-standing mode. Anything else requires the stand.
This set shines in train mode.
Individual bots are cool.
Combined mode is a bonus.
Not so very excited for future combiners done this way. I mean, I'm not hating, I can see how clever these things are.

Thank you!

I'm the opposite, at least with Masterpiece figures. I don't even bother with the instructions, I watch an Emgo JTI so I know what to expect and minimize the risk of breaking something while learning how it works.

Oh hey, news to me. I like to feel things out without the instructions. That part didn't seem to want to move at all, so I've never tried to force it.
I think the only thing I've cracked the manuals for is to suss out the weapon storage options, since some of them aren't so obvious.

Anytime I see someone say that combiners should be done with skeleton frames, I'm going to sent them this image.

Same. Here. Kaen, Seizan, and Missing Link. God what a box that'll be at least when I get it. TFSource needs to hurry!
Darknova4life
Same here. Waiting on TF Source for the box set.

No, that would be me. Still waiting for the store to ship it…
