TFNation shares another 2022 guest announcement: designer and product manager Andy Couzens.
Who is Couzens, you ask? He is a former Hasbro designer, development and product manager, who started back with Kiddy Craft, then Milton Bradley – where he worked on Playskool and Robotix – then all the way under Hasbro Europe as Category Development Head of Boys, Girls Toys and Creative Play. During his time on the Transformers franchise, he oversaw the release of several Japanese toys in European markets, including the likes of Overlord, the Motorvators, and the Powermasters, plus what has come to be known as Generation 1.5 among fans and collectors!
Stay tuned to this space and the TFNation blog for details about the convention’s scheduled August 12-14 return to its Hilton Birmingham Metropole home, then join in the discussion on the 2005 boards!

As some may have guessed: this panel was an extensive overview of Ron Friedman's very first script for The Transformers The Movie. A copy of which was uncovered by Flint Dille in Autumn 2020. Right now, there's no video or concise article, but there is a sizeable live-blogging twitter thread from an attendee: [email protected] on Twitter: "Sorenson: "the story starts in the US elections 2020…" Crowd: *audibly groans* Sorenson: but then I FOUND THE ORIGINAL SCRIPT FOR THE ORIGINAL TF MOVIE Crowd: :0!!!!! https://t.co/LMzlqx0Aqn" / Twitter

Hi, random Question from a TFN n00b.
Are the panels FCFS for seating, or need pre-booking?

Important Update on TFNation Friday Tickets
We have good news for all TFNationals this morning! Due to increased demand, we are pleased to announce we have secured a larger panel room, with increased capacity, for our Friday schedule. Friday's panels will now be held in our main panel room, the Kings Suite.
Switching to the larger room means we can now re-open Friday ticket sales, so more of you can enjoy the Friday panels.
If you don't already have your hotel rooms booked, then there are some good opportunities available for you at the moment. At the time of writing there are only a small number of rooms remaining at the TFNation discount rate (so be quick!) however, there is a Hilton Honors sale on right now meaning you can book a Friday nights stay at the Hilton from £91! Just visit the Hilton's website for more details.
We look forward to seeing you all next week!
