Coming to us from Chefatron we now have some new images of the Transformers Legacy Deluxe Knock Out figure.
This is a new incarnation of Transformers Prime Knock Out for the Legacy line. The figure is a retool and redeco of Studio Series 86 Jazz and it catches some of the key elements 0f the original Knock OIut design. We also have comparison shots next to the original Transformers Prime toy and the aforementioned Studio Series Jazz figure.
You can check out the images and let us know what you think on the boards!
Rodimus Prime
I'd buy it just to make him Gobot Good Knight.

Love it

from what i saw, the infamous back kibble hinge (the one that attaches behind the head) is solid plastic. the clear plastic has also improved immensely

They're probably doing it like that because it doesn't look good the other way.

Pop quiz: Knockout and Side-Burn exist in the same universe, who's the top and who's the bottom?!
AndreyOfDoom
Got it! I meant the original pics by the first review of chefatron. But he is fairly sloppy with transformations.
Starpilot949
Could you post a picture of that? Might just do that for Knockout.
Optimus1138
Ah, I'd just watched PVP's review so I thought you meant the way he had the wheels displayed.
mx-01 archon
Yeah, I've been doing wheels up, wings out, and backpack up for Jackpot, compared to Jazz.
AndreyOfDoom
I would agree but I’m saying people are doing the opposite of what you say. They are rotating it like Jazz thus making it the same silhouettes/same kibble management between mold mates and making it NOT look like the original figure.
Novaburnhilde
My only hope is that they addressed issues Studio Series Jazz had, because I really like that we have a Knock Out that fits in more with other CHUG figures.
Edwardmus Prime
Thanks for that. Yeah, I think Knockout is going to look alright and Bulkhead does too. The width definitely helps in Bulkhead's case.
Girl Pants
Jackpot's not exactly the same size, but this ought to help a bit.

They're probably doing it intentionally to make him look more like the original figure:
Or they just like having mold-mates use different kibble management. I do that sometimes to help differentiate the silhouettes a bit.
AndreyOfDoom
How do many reviewers (pvp did it right though) and people not see that you should NOT rotate the sides on the legs like jazz so that the wheels can be in the right place in bot mode?
I mean in the comparison next to the original you can clearly see the lower legs wheels tires should point forward
Thundershot
Can’t wait!

It also doesn't help that the shouting just looks kinda stupid in a sea of neutral faces. If they all had that level of emotion I wouldn't mind, but 2 or 3 shouting faces when every other figure has a neutral expression, or is smirking at most, is annoying. Doubly so when the figures that have gotten it don't have shouting or being loud as a defining trait, it's just there to differentiate them from other releases of the mold.
Edwardmus Prime
PvP makes Bulkhead look tiny in alt mode vs Knockout from the comparisons. Wish there was a comparison with Bulkhead closer to the camera or front on because from images I saw Bulkhead sizes up pretty well with Optimus in cab mode.

It's still silly to me that a neutral face supposedly offers limitless possibilities, but a smirk would absolutely ruin your ability to project emotion onto the figure.
