Time for a look at the second MDLX figure from threezero – G1 inspired Optimus Prime. This scales with the first MDLX release, Bumblebee (see our gallery here). The original & larger 15+ inch figures are called Premium, then they went to the 10-12 inch DLX line, and now we are one step smaller with MDLX. The non transforming figure stands around 7 inches tall with a whopping 48 points of articulation, detailed paint head to toe, multiple hands, weapons and accessories. If you are looking for a G1-esque, high end display piece in the smaller form factor, this is a winner.
Threezero was kind enough to send through a copy a little early, he’s due to ship in Q2 2022. Read on to check some in-hand pics, then hit our sponsors below or the Threezero Store to pick up your copy! You can also join in the ongoing MDLX discussion on the 2005 Boards.

My Thundercracker and Skywarp have wings that stay on quite nicely. Not too tight that they can’t be removed again, but securely enough to stay attached.
Starscreams barely grip at all. A quiet, barely audible fart will blow them off his back and across the room.

Amazon ca just canceled my preorder for Sideswipe “due to lack of availability “
they are so unreliable for preorders

I can't say any of my 3 seekers have the whole wings fall off at all, but they do share a problem where the extra tips just falling off though, so I now just leave them in the box.
If Screamers wings are a problem though, it might be worth getting some water based clear drying polyurethane varnish and popping a few drops in the holes to see if that will tighten things up?
Sean Whitmore
Can I take this to mean Skywarp and Thundercracker don't share Starscream's wing problem? Cause I took 'Scream out of the bin I put him in the day I received him, and after handling him for 5 minutes I'm ready to throw him against the fucking wall.

Are there any new Jazz photos?

Since this thread got bumped, I've been meaning to ask: Are the Seeker mold's talons feet removable, and have there been any replacements made? I like most of the figure, but god those claws are awful imho

Looks like they just PS'd out the background from where it was initially shown. LOL
Here's the Sunstorm listing from Sugotoys: Threezero Transformers – Sunstorm Exclusive Mdlx Action Figure
Also, it's an exclusive for BBTS in the US:
lurasidone
So, it looks like Acid Storm is not exclusive to BBTS. Found him at Australian store Sugo Toys for $229.95 AUD.

That's my guess after comparing the silhouettes to Starscreams pointy bits. Be nice to get a good looking Sunstorm/Novastorm nailed down
Napalm
So are these the Acid and Nova Storm repaints?

Because its not a current media, these companies only tend to produce new/recent media based figures. Only thing different is their G1 redesign line.
GrimlockPrime19
Why? They seem so perfect for MDLX and it'd be so profitable. But I may be with you on this because Threezero doesn't like money. This company makes the most questionable choices ever imo
dkr7
Threezero, yolopark or anyone who makes WFC/FOC accurate articulated figures or even statues has my money for the whole line. Dont see it happening tho, unless they get a re-release but even then its extremely unlikely unfortunately.

The paint differences are all on the video.
ThreeZero called out a change to the back colouring details on both Optimus and Bumblebee.
EDIT:
Each V2 also comes with some collectors card with signature and artwork from Transformers Season 2 key animator Nobuyoshi Habara.

I hope Threezero knows they are losing money each day which they don't bring WFC/FOC robots to MDLX. I'd buy them all

Links are back up. The figures look literally the same as the V1.0 with the exception of removing the toy squiggle from Megatron's chest.
