The official YouTube account of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang game have posted up an impressive cinematic trailer for your viewing pleasure.
This game, developed and published by Moonton, is a mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) and our beloved Transformers characters are coming in hot into the game. This would be the second collaboration with the game following the first skins of Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Bumblebee, now we can spot skins for Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave (with Ravage of course) and Grimlock! These new skins will be available from May 24th to July 7th.
Watch the trailer after the jump as well as some screencaps and then sound off on the 2005 Boards!

That's why Hasbro, with its extensive IP properties, is better having an in-house studio to do its tie-in games.

Doesn’t help the last company they gave the license too faked development of most of their games purely to increase the price of the company before it sold.

No game with a decent development planning these days is too hard to translate into different languages. Adding the English language alone should cover a lot of the world's population. Hasbro KNOWS fans are clamoring for the days of Activision's WfC/FoC, as well as Devastation. Hasbro's just not too interested.
Megastar
They always are.

Nah, pretty sure that's one of the games "original" characters. Practically every game of this type has some variation on a Grim Reaper-esque character.
Dark Starscream
Did I see Skeletor in there??

I miss FOC….

That's not exactly uncommon. Check out the G1 Commercial animation, compared to the actual show.
Costs on film projects are usually by job, and not by minute, and the rates can be different. Adverts are frequently really high quality stuff because you're trying to give your best impression in a really short amount of time. With the actual show, you're usually stuck trying to stretch out your budget. You could spend $1M on a commercial, and it'd be worth it, because it gets tons of repeat play. And then a full series animation order comes in, and your budget for 10-13 whole episodes is $5-10M.

When a mobile game trailer has better, more fluid animations and more actual transformations in its 2 minutes of runtime than the entirety of Netflix WFC series…

This MOBA (along with League of Legends), are actually part of the e-sports category for the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, which are still on-going as of date.
Quite frankly, Mobile Legends is more popular in the Eastern Nations than League, which favors the West. There are a lot of MOBA games similar to League out there (heck, even Marvel has one with their roster of heroes). It just so happened Mobile Legends has been the the target of Riot due to its influence for their intendent Asian market.
And getting back on the Transformers content here, they're actually nice in gameplay.

Because nobody wants to do licensed games anymore. Game development is too expensive now to spend money on properties you don't own, unless the're megabrands like Star Wars or Marvel, and even then, that's iffy.

Is that why it's been so hard to get English Market Transformers games made? Because Hasbro has to have a hand in all those deals?
VVa
Oh, my bad.
Damn international distribution rights..
cloudballoon
No. Damn international distribution/royalty rights between Hasbro/Takara and maybe some other regional companies.

Oh, another moba tie-in… pass.
VVa
Damn China.
Blam320
Yeah, exclusive to the Chinese market, like so many other Transformes games.
VVa
Wasn't there an Overwatch-like Transformers game a while back?

I do think Transformers has the potential to be a cool battle arena type of game. It doesn't have to be a MOBA, but a multiplayer focused game with different factions could work. Transformers also has no shortage of characters to use. Plus, the transformation gimmick could also set it apart from other games of this type too. A game built from the ground up to take advantage of transformations would make for some intense battles.

Didn't Riot sue the maker of this game lol
