Courtesy of Hasbro designer Mark “Markclonus” Maher on Instagram we can share for your images of the color prototype of the recently revealed Transformers Legacy G2 Leadfoot.
We have a nice image of G2 Leadfoot (retool and redeco of Kingdom Earth Mode Mirage) showing his poseability and combined with his partner Fossilizer Masterdominus which gives him extra parts and weapons. A great combination in both figures and colors.
But Mark is algo treating is with a nice reveal. You can combine a piece of Masterdominus with another piece of Fossilizer Spindle to create a new Fossilizer combiner head. A great shared playability factor!
See the images after the jump and then sound off on the 2005 Boards!

While I certainly admit the "Spine-dle" idea is clever, I could never bring myself to pronounce a word spelled that way any way other than "Spin-dle."
Michael Schlem
Though, how do you pronounce Spindle's Name? Do you pronounce it "Spin-dle" or "Spine-dle"?

Siege Springer definitely has some qc issues. I had to put Kiki on his ankles because he was completely incapable of standing on his own. He's also a pain to transform. Looks good in my display though, other than the battle damage paint. I'm hoping the inevitable SS86 version will improve his ankles in addition to eliminating the battle damage paint.

He wasn' THAT bad. He was mediocre. I didn't say he was a dumpster fire.

I dig the Siege Springer mold, too.
What I wish was designed differently are the little side fins in helicopter mode. They look a bit too obviously like open arm panels.
And that the backpack actually tabbed in so that it wouldn't shift every time I pick him up.
As for problems with my copy, the ankles are way too loose and the swords like to fall off the sides of the backpack at the slightest nudge.

I actually really like the Siege Springer mold. I just wish his knees tabbed in a little better.
MegatronsLoyalSycophant
Mediocre? Really? He wasn't THAT bad.
World War 5000
Nope! Just skipping it altogether. I don't have any connection or nostalgia for this repaint. He looks cool but I don't need it.

Thanks for that – I've been checking daily for TT on Amazon.de, never seen him. Just gave up an preordered him through pulse last night.

No, he would need to be a leader class to be the proper BEEF

The 2014 toy is terrible. You couldn't pay me to put that on my shelf again. Ugh.
RNSrobot
Like, I'm buying him
But siege Springer is such a mediocre mold
neospark1
Add in enough remolding and extra goodies and they can hit it with leader class pricing. Of course … even using those molds with zero hollow spaces will make the Hasbro execs scream in agony.

MMC Turben? He's about Prime Wars Voyager height, personally I think he scales pretty well
TargetmasterJoe
I loathe that I slept on getting T30 Roadbuster. Now that leader class means parts count over size, I wouldn't mind if we got a new Roadbuster right around now. I think we're good for it.
I mean, you're not wrong, but that's from 2008. Would Hasbro still be as ambitious as they were then?
Avux
You know, I wouldn't be fussed if we don't get a Whirl. If Mastermind's Whirl scales well, I might buy it for the time being.
