Takara Tomy Mall have just updated their pre-orders for October 2022. This time we have listings for several of the recently revealed Legacy figures:
It’s good to notice that all of these figures will be regular retail releases and none of them are Takara Tomy Mall exclusives.

it does have some innacuracies, but, to be honest, i think the problem is that the sections should move a bit more, but honestly im still loving how it looks
octobotimus
Well that just makes the figures chest look all the more off to me. The front of the car needs to move sideways to the shoulder area.
BBJazz
Even if it was, the Bee Arcee has a much smaller head than the other ones and would probably lose the ability to transform if you made the swap.
Applejacktimus
Absolutely. But single axis is better than nothing.
Beemer
Is this one on a similar style peg to any of the G1 Arcees? Could you do a head swap? I might be up for that.

Used UV resin on my Golden Disk Terrorsaur. MOFO was doin' the Michael Jackson lean like he was a Smooth Criminal.
Which is infuriating to think about when you realize they gave Terrorsaur ball-jointed ankles.
Sure, but at the cost of stability in figures. I'd rather they look a little "off" when they pose rather than have no balance.
Again, infuriated with Terrorsaur. Not sure why they gave JP94 ball-jointed elbows, either. Like…what?
But there's no weight to those, so those joints can take it a little bit longer than the heavier figures do. Still, valid point.
Astronopolis
They call them universal joints colloquially, but those joints that are essentially a rotational hinge would be the best, especially if there was a tightening screw in the joint. My main gripe with the ankle tilts is that there's no forward and back movement

Sideways ilm render dropped

WishfulThinking
Authentics uses lots of ball joints. They look uglier but the poses are pretty awesome…
Nova Maximus
Hasbro did try to use ball-joints, but they found they constantly failed to support the figures to went for pins instead.
It was also why WFC introduced the ankle pivot as part of the new "Articulation Standard" as it was deemed a must for the C.O.M.B.A.T System to work. They also tried with ball-joints due to ball-joints being cheaper to make but found they also wouldn't work the vast majority of the time, although now that the C.O.M.B.A.T System isn't "technically" the gimmick for Legacy the return of ball-joints in places like the ankles or elbows could happen, although probably not to the extent they use to be.

But Ball jointed ankles were a lot better at doing organic leg poses and also WFC trilogy figs feel rather light weighted
Nova Maximus
Ball-jointed ankles work more if the figure is small or not heavy, which is why ball-joints were omitted by Hasbro almost entirely from WFC and Legacy due to both the figure's and the C.O.M.B.A.T System.
beastfanboi
Just use super glue and renovation methods
TFXProtector
I mean… If you want them to cause your figure to topple over as they age and wear down from posing, sure.
beastfanboi
Nah, ball jointed ankles are better
absolutelynotdario
I don't like the head that dotm bee has, it's still that ugly 2017 head and the WWII one had a more accurate they could've just painted yellow.
TF Hot Rod
They also used the wrong render for DOTM Bee.
